Installation
General information
This DECT repeater is compatible with most GAP (Generic Access Prole) DECT
cordless telephones irrespective of manufacturer, however, the GAP protocol does not
guarantee that all units or functions will work. Certain DECT cordless telephones have
a menu selection for repeater operation (repeater enabled base units only) please refer
to the manual or with the manufacturer of the telephone you intend to use with this
repeater.
Up to ve repeaters may be used with one DECT cordless telephone with each repeater
being capable of handling two handsets simultaneously.
Communication takes place according to the GAP protocol and does not guarantee
that all functions work when you are connected via the repeater. Functions which do
not always work include, for example, internal calls, caller identication and the ring
signal following the incoming ring signal.
Connection
The repeater must be registered to an operating GAP compatible DECT base unit.
Registering a repeater is similar to registering an additional handset, please refer to your
telephones instruction manual for registration mode programming.
Please ensure that while registering the repeater no other base unit close by is in
registration mode. If you accidentally register the repeater to another/unknown base
unit repeat the registration procedure again
Registration
1. Connect the mains adapter to the repeater and to an electrical wall socket. Ensure
the D.C. connector is correctly inserted in the repeater, the socket has a rubber seal
that creates a tight t when inserting.
2. Set the required base unit to registration mode.
3. Press and hold the repeater button for 3 seconds until the indicator light starts pulse
ashing.
4. If registration is successful, the repeater will return to standby mode with the
indicator light ashing slowly.
5. To check the repeater is correctly registered unplug the telephone base unit power
supply and check the repeater indicator light. The indicator light should ash
rapidly after a few seconds, if it continues to ash slowly the repeater is registered
to another base unit and the registration process should be repeated ensuring the
correct base unit is set to registration mode.
6. Repeat this procedure if you need to register more than one repeater.

Installation
Please note!
Do not place the repeater close to other electrical equipment such as TV sets, computer screens, telecom
equipment, fans etc. This will minimise the risk of interference. Do not place the repeater in areas where
it will be exposed to direct sunlight or other major heat sources.
Do not install the repeater where it will be subject to rain or get wet. For use outdoors a covered location
is recommended.
Wall mounting
1. Fix two screws positioned horizontally 34mm apart.
2. Place the repeater over the screws and slide downward into place.
Protection from dust and water
The repeater complies with IP-53, which means it is protected from ingress of dust
and water splashes. This does not indicate the unit is “waterproof” it therefore must be
protected from rain and direct sunlight when installed outdoors.
This compliance does not apply to the electrical adapter; this must be positioned so that
it is protected from water and dust.
Status light
The light on the repeater is used to indicate the operational status of the unit.
Steady light - Call connected through the repeater
Pulse ashing - Registration mode
Slow ashing - Standby mode when registered to a base unit
Rapid ashing - Not registered to a base unit
Light off - No electrical power supply to the repeater

Operation
Range
A repeater can be located anywhere you would like increased range, simply register a
repeater and position it in the required location within range of the base unit.
To maximise the range performance the repeater should be positioned close to the
range limit but still within range of your base unit. Using a repeater/s will increase the
range of a DECT cordless telephone by up to 100%.
Maximum range requires unobstructed transmission between the base unit and the
repeater. In densely populated areas, houses, apartments, etc. the range will be reduced.
For optimum range, place the repeater/s in a high and unobstructed position.
Location of repeater
Place the repeater well within the range of the telephone in the direction you want to
extend the range. For maximum range, the repeater must be as close as possible to the
range limit of the telephone.
Use the telephone handset to check that there is a good signal where the repeater is
to be placed. If the handset does not function well in the position selected, move the
repeater closer to the telephone base unit.

Troubleshooting
- Check that the mains adapter is functioning and connected to a working electrical
wall socket.
- Check that the repeater is registered to an operating DECT base unit.
- Check that the base unit mains adapter is functioning and connected to a working
electrical wall socket.
- Re-register the repeater with a known working base unit.
- Check that the DECT telephone base unit is GAP compatible and intended for use
with a repeater (ie. repeater enabled).
If the product still does not work, contact Doro or the place of purchase. Don’t forget
the receipt or copy of the invoice will be required for guarantee purposes.

Guarantee
This product is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Proof
of purchase is required for any service or support required during the guarantee period.
This guarantee shall not apply to a fault caused by an accident or a similar incident or
damage, liquid ingress, negligence, abnormal usage, not reasonably maintained or any
other circumstances on the purchaser’s part. Furthermore, this guarantee shall not
apply to a fault caused by a thunderstorm or any other voltage uctuations.
This guarantee does not in any way affect your statutory rights. (As a matter of
precaution, we recommend disconnecting the telephone during a thunderstorm.)

Généralités
Ce répéteur ne fonctionne qu’avec des téléphones sans l DECT spécialement
conçus pour être utilisé avec des répéteurs.
Certains téléphones sans l DECT ont un menu dédié à la conguration des
répéteurs. Pour en savoir plus sur leur fonctionnalités, consultez la notice de
votre téléphone.
Vous pouvez utiliser cinq répéteurs pour un même téléphone sans l DECT, et
chaque répéteur peut gérer jusqu’à deux combinés simultanément.
La communication s’effectuant conformément au protocole GAP, la
compatibilité peut se limiter à certaines fonctions quand l’appel est connecté par
l’intermédiaire du répéteur. Les fonctions qui ne sont pas toujours compatibles
sont, par exemple, les appels internes, la présentation du numéro et la sonnerie
immédiate à la réception des appels.
Raccordement
An que le répéteur fonctionne, vous devez le déclarer sur la base.
Veuillez consulter la notice de la base pour plus d’informations sur sa mise en
mode de déclaration.
1. Reliez le bloc d’alimentation fourni au répéteur et à la prise de courant.
2. Mettez la base en mode de déclaration.
3. Appuyez pendant 3 secondes sur la touche du répéteur, jusqu’à ce que
l’indicateur se mette à clignoter rapidement.
4. Lorsque la déclaration est effectuée, le répéteur repasse en veille et
l’indicateur se met à clignoter lentement.
Remarque !
An de minimiser les risques d’interférences, ne pas placer le répéteur près d’appareils
électriques tels que télévision, moniteur, matériel de télécommunication, ventilateur etc. Ne pas
placer le répéteur à proximité d’une source de chaleur ou dans un endroit exposé directement au
soleil.
Position murale
1. Montez deux vis espacées horizontalement de 35mm d’entre-axe.
2. Engagez les trous du répéteur sur les têtes des vis dans et faites-le glisser vers
le bas pour le mettre en place.

Utilisation
Portée
Le répéteur peut doubler la portée du téléphone.
La portée maximum s’entend pour une transmission en champ libre entre le
combiné et le répéteur. La portée sera réduite dans les zones à forte densité de
population, les maisons, appartements etc. Pour une portée maximum, placez le
répéteur en hauteur et dans un endroit dégagé.
Vous pouvez améliorer la portée en orientant le combiné vers le répéteur ou la
base.
Degré de protection contre les eaux et poussières
Ce répéteur est conforme aux directives de la norme IP53 ; il est donc protégé
contre les éclaboussures et les dépôts de poussières.
Cette classication ne s’applique pas à l’adaptateur; celui-ci sera placé à l’abri des
éclaboussures et des poussières.
Indicateur
L’indicateur indique l’état courant du répéteur :
Allumé - Un appel est relayé par l’intermédiaire du répéteur
Clignotement pulsé - Répéteur en mode de déclaration
Clignotement lent - Répéteur en contact avec la base
Clignotement rapide - Absence de contact entre le répéteur et la base
Eteint - Répéteur hors tension

Emplacement du répéteur
Le répéteur doit être placé à portée du téléphone dans la direction vers laquelle
vous voulez augmenter la portée. Pour une portée maximum, placez le répéteur
aussi près que possible de la limite de la portée du téléphone
Prenez le combiné pour véri er la qualité du signal à l’endroit où vous voulez
placer le répéteur. Si vous n’obtenez pas de signal, rapprochez le répéteur de la
base du téléphone

Dépannage
- Vériez que la base fonctionne.
- Vériez que le répéteur est déclaré sur la base.
- Vériez que le bloc d’alimentation est branché et qu’il fonctionne.
- Vériez que la base est prévue pour fonctionner avec un répéteur.
Si le répéteur ne fonctionne toujours pas, contactez votre revendeur. N’oubliez
pas de vous munir de la facture de votre appareil.
Garantie et S.A.V.
Cet appareil est garanti un an à partir de sa date d’achat, la facture faisant foi.
La réparation dans le cadre de cette garantie sera effectuée gratuitement.
La garantie est valable pour un usage normal de l’appareil tel qu’il est déni
dans la notice d’utilisation.
Les fournitures utilisées avec l’appareil ne sont pas couvertes par la garantie.
Sont exclues de cette garantie les détériorations dues à une cause étrangère à
l’appareil.
Les dommages dûs à des manipulations ou à un emploi non conformes, à un
montage ou entreposage dans de mauvaises conditions, à un branchement ou
une installation non conformes ne sont pas pris en charge par la garantie.
Par ailleurs, la garantie ne s’appliquera pas si l’appareil a été endommagé à la
suite d’un choc ou d’une chute, d’une fausse manoeuvre, d’un branchement
non conforme aux instructions mentionnées dans la notice ou aux prescriptions
de l’ART (Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications), de l’effet de
la foudre, de surtensions électriques ou électrostatiques, d’une protection
insufsante contre l’humidité, la chaleur ou le gel.
En cas de panne, adressez-vous au S.A.V. de votre revendeur ou installateur.
Pour la France
En tout état de cause, la garantie légale pour vices cachés s’appliquera
conformément aux articles 1641 et suivants du Code Civil.

Allmänt
Repeatern fungerar endast tillsammans med DECT-trådlösa telefoner som är
speciellt anpassade att användas tillsammans med repeater.
Vissa DECT-trådlösa telefoner har menyinställning för repeateranpassning, se
manualen för den telefon du avser att använda.
Fem stycken repeatrar kan användas till samma DECT-trådlösa telefon och
varje repeater kan hantera två handenheter samtidigt.
Kommukationen sker enligt GAP protokollet och garanterar inte att alla
funktioner fungerar när man är uppkopplad via repetaren. Funktioner som inte
alltid fungerar är t.ex. internsamtal, nummerpresentation samt att ringsignalen
följer inkommande ringsignal.
Inkoppling
Repeatern måste registreras till din basenhet för att kunna användas!
Se i basenhetens manual hur du sätter denna i registreringsläge.
1. Anslut den medföljande nätadaptern till eluttaget samt till repeatern.
2. Sätt basenheten i registreringsläge.
3. Tryck och håll nedtryckt repeaterns knapp i 3 sekunder tills indikatorn visar
en pulserande blinkning.
4. Om registreringen lyckades återgår repeatern till viloläge och indikatorn
visar en långsam blinkning.
Observera!
Placera inte repeatern nära annan elektrisk utrustning t ex TV-apparater, bildskärmar,
teleutrustning, äktar etc. Detta för att minska risken för eventuella störningar. Ställ inte
heller repeatern på en plats där den utsätts för direkt solljus eller annan stark värme!
Väggmontage
1. Montera två skruvar vågrätt på 35mm avstånd.
2. Placera repeatern över skruvarna och tryck ned den på plats.
