• Use only Swiffer®Dry dusting cloths. Do not use Swiffer®Wet cloths.
• Do not use outdoors or on wet sur faces.
• Do not charge the unit outdoors.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
• Do not use charger with damaged cord or plug. If vacuum or charger is not working as
it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center for inspection. Call 1-800-321-1134 for the nearest service center.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the charger by the cord or yank to disconnect from an out-
let; instead grasp the charger and pull to disconnect. Keep cord away from heated surfaces. Do not pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not close door on the charger cord.
• Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
• This product includes rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries. Do not incinerate batteries
or expose to high temperatures, as they may explode.
• Unplug the charger from the outlet before any routine cleaning or maintenance.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner without filter in place.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in
areas where they may be present.
• Leaks from batter y cells can occur under extreme conditions. If the liquid, which is 20-
35% solution of potassium hydroxide, gets on the skin (1) wash quickly with soap and water or (2) neutralize with a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes. Seek medical attention.
• Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
•Store the vacuum cleaner indoors. Put the vacuum cleaner away after use to pre-
vent tripping accidents.
• Keep Swiffer®cloths out of reach of toddlers and pets to avoid accidental ingestion.

Insert the lower handle into the body of the unit and firmly push in until it locks into place (Diagram 1). Be sure to line up the 2 notches to help guide the lower handle properly into the body (Diagram 1a-1b).

Insert the upper handle into the lower handle of the unit and firmly push into place. Use the alignment tabs to help guide the upper handle in properly.

HOW TO OPERATE
Lift the suction nozzle. Nozzle should lock into position.
Push the suction nozzle back to the floor cleaning position.
Place one Swiffer
®
electrostatic cloth on the Swiffer®nozzle of the unit. Secure by pushing the edge of the cloth into the tabs.
Use the Swiffer
®
electrostatic cloths to pick up fine debris like dirt, dust and pet hair. Use vacuum to suck up any left over debris. For best results, replace the Swiffer
®
cloth as needed.
To turn vac on: Hold down the vac power button located in the handle. Release the button to turn vacuum off.

CHARGING
Connect wall charger to the outlet.
Plug charger end into the back of the unit.

NOTE: Only use charger supplied by Royal Appliance Mfg. to recharge. CHARGE 24 HOURS BEFORE FIRST USE.
STORAGE

Use the storage hook to hang Sweeper Vac™any­where. NOTE: Hang Sweeper
Vac™where it can conve­niently be charged every time.
FOR BEST RESULTS, USESWIFFER®DRY DUSTING CLOTHS. NOTE: This product is intended for dry pick up only. Do not attempt to vacuum up any liquids with this cleaner.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE REASONS POSSIBLE CAUSES

Dealer or retailer. Always identify your cleaner by the model number and manufacturing code when requesting information or ordering replacement parts. (The model number appears on the bottom of the cleaner.)

DIRT CONTAINER AND FILTER: REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
Grasp the center tab on the filter and pull out of dirt cup. IMPORTANT: DO NOT WASH FILTER.

Empty contents into waste­basket. For best results, shake and lightly tap filter against wastebasket to remove remaining dirt.

Return filter to dirt cup.
Tilt and push dirt cup in until it locks into place.
Reattach by aligning tab on dirt cup (Diagram 2) with slot on body of unit (Diagram 2a).

REPLACEMENT
Press the dirt cup release button located above the cup on the body of the unit (Diagram 1). Tip the dirt cup out to remove (Diagram 1a).
