Model: AVR-2310CI, AVR-890
Subject: The listed malfunctions occur due to bugs in the MICON software.
Symptom: 1) When Audio Format is switched to LPCM or HD-Audio of a
sampling frequency that is higher than LPCM that has reproduced while
reproducing LPCM by way of HDMI, POP sound is emitted.
2) When Power ON and Font is changed, the Font display on OSD might be
correct and it not displays it.
3) Specific TV (Sharp LC-**XJ1) and A/V AMP are connected with HDMI. When
the Analog Video signal "VIDEO/S-VIDEO/Component 480i/576i" is output by
1080p, the picture of TV might not be able to be reproduced correctly.
4) "Amp Assign" is set to "Front Height". When "Dolby Digital True HD 192kHz
5.1ch" signal is input, and "Surround Mode" is changed to "Direct" in addition, the
noise might be generated from each Loudspeaker. (Target models; AVR-890
only)
5) After Auto Setup, HDMI Control is turned on, TV for CEC is connected and
HDMI Assign is set to "None" or "Source that cannot do HDMI Assign". When
Power of the AV amplifier is done in on/off, neither the voice nor the image might
be output. (Target models; AVR-890 only)
6) When Surround Back is set to 1SP, and a specific track of BD "Super HiVi
CAST" of the HiVi (Japanese magazine company) production is reproduced, the
sound of Extension Channel might not be output. (Target models; AVR-890 only)
Solution:

MODIFICATION: Please install the Writer Software to a PC and update your unit
before using Setup Tool, by means of the Writer Software. (For the update
procedures, please refer to the attached procedures.)
