Denon avr1800 schematic

Fully Discrete, Equal Response and Power of 75 W
for Each Channel
Front 75 W + 75 W (8 ohms, 20Hz - 20kHz, 0.05% THD) Center 75 W (8 ohms, 20Hz - 20kHz, 0.05% THD) Surround 75 W + 75 W (8 ohms, 20Hz - 20kHz, 0.05% THD)
The AVR-1800 uses a high-capacity power transformer in
the power circuit to support not only stable reproduction of
5.1-channel Dolby Digital / dts sound sources but also highquality pure audio recordings. The fully discrete configuration of the power amp section delivers equal power to the Front Left and Right, Center, and Surround (Rear) Left and Right speakers to ensure that they all respond at identical levels. During surround sound reproduction, the AVR-1800 taps its powerful reserves of 75 W for each of the 5 channels to surround you with a refreshingly clean, realistic sound.
DDSC-Digital (Dynamic Discrete Surround
Circuit-Digital)
Since surround signals are all processed in the digital domain, the AVR-1800 is equipped with a newly-developed, sophisticated, high-performance DSP circuit with "Full Block Floating Point" calculations for the Dolby Digital, Dolby ProLogic, dts decoders, and Surround Simulator. The D/A converters feature high resolution designs for all the Front L/R, Center, Surround L/R, and Subwoofer channels. This combination of DSP and D/A converters works to bring out the tremendous potential of Dolby Digital and dts sound. In addition, high resolution A/D converters have been incorporated for the Dolby Pro-Logic decoder. The merits of all the latest technologies have been harnessed to reproduce the absolute highest quality in sound possible today.
AVR-1800
Dolby Digital and dts Certified A/V Receiver
Eminently Affordable, High-Quality Ambiance For Your Home Theater.
NEW MODEL INFORMATION
The AVR-1800 is an A/V surround receiver that lets you enjoy Dolby Digital and dts surround sound with maximum ease. To ensure that all channels deliver an identical response—a vital requirement of both Dolby Digital and dts—the AVR-1800 is equipped with fully discrete, equal power amplifiers. Sound effects linked with the action in a movie will thus move in the listening space around you and greatly heighten the sense of realism.
The AVR-1800’s remote controller features a newly-developed liquid crystal display that makes operation from your seat easier than ever. You can operate system set-up procedures, such as making adjustments to obtain optimum surround performance, using the display on the remote controller rather than on the AVR-1800 itself.

The Binding Posts are used for all speaker terminals on the
AVR-1800 to give you secure connections with all types of wire.
Acclaimed Customization Feature
As with all of DENON’s high-grade A/V amplifiers, the AVR-1800 lets you adjust delay times and other parameters so that you can customize the performance of the AVR-1800 to suit your own home theater and enhance operating ease. The adjustments are easy to make via a dialog format on the fluorescent display on the remote controller.
Personal memory Plus, for Ease Operation
The AVR-1800 includes the Personal Memory Plus function that automatically remembers the surround mode you last used for each program source, so that you do not need to select the mode again for that program.
Easy Operation with New Remote Controller
Dot Matrix LCD (10 characters)
Since the LC display on the remote controller is a dot matrix type, the characters are easier to read, and up to 10 characters can be displayed at any one time.
Direct Surround Mode Key
The remote controller includes a button for each surround mode, letting you switch immediately to the surround mode you want to use.
Preset Memory (Over 100 Built-in Codes)
Since the remote controller is preprogrammed with more than 100 remote control codes, you can use the AVR-1800’s remote controller to operate not only DENON equipment but components made by other manufacturers as well. (Some components may not be supported by Preset Memory.)
