entschieden haben. Das Produkt wird unter besonderer
Qualitätsüberwachung hergestellt und erfüllt strengste

SENSORSAFE ist ein Monitoring-System. Am Kindersitz
angebracht und über Bluetooth mit Ihrem Smartphone
verbunden (Bluetooth Klasse 2), alarmiert es Sie in kritischen
Situationen für das Kind. Das System arbeitet mit folgenden
Komponenten:
1. Sensoren im Clip: z. B. Messung der Umgebungstemperatur, Registrierung eines geschlossenen Clips.
2. Smartphone: SENSORSAFE arbeitet nur mit der
SENSORSAFE App, welche Sie im Apple AppStore oder
bei Google Play erhalten.
3. Dongle: Der Dongle dient als Kommunikationsbrücke
zwischen dem Clip und Ihrem Smartphone und muss in
Ihrem Fahrzeug installiert werden.

SENSORSAFE is a monitoring system. Attached to the
car seat and connected to your smartphone by Bluetooth
(Bluetooth class 2) it will alert you in critical situations for the
child. The system consists of the following components:
1. Sensors in a clip: e.g. measurement of ambient
temperature, notice of a closed clip.
2. Smartphone: SENSORSAFE only works with the
SENSORSAFE application, which is available in the Apple
AppStore or Google Play.
3. Dongle: The dongle acts as a communication bridge
between the clip and your smartphone and has to be
installed in your car.
SENSORSAFE è un sistema di monitoraggio. Viene collegato
al seggiolino dell’auto, si connette a uno smartphone tramite
Bluetooth (classe 2) e avvisa in caso di situazioni critiche per

INSTALLATION UND DEINSTALLATION
Der SENSORSAFE Clip wird am Gurtsystem des Kindersitzes
befestigt. Die beiden Teile des Clips haben Schlitze zum
Einfädeln in das Gurtsystem.
Gehen Sie für die Installation beider Teile wie folgt vor:
• Greifen Sie den Gurt unterhalb der Schulterpolster und
führen Sie ihn von vorne nach hinten in den oberen Schlitz
des Clips (2).
• Führen Sie den Gurt hinter dem Clip entlang und fädeln Sie
ihn nun von hinten nach vorne durch den unteren Schlitz.
HINWEIS! Achten Sie darauf, dass die Gurte sauber durch
beide Schlitze verlaufen und nicht verdreht sind (3).
Um den Clip aus dem Gurtsystem zu entfernen, schieben Sie
den Gurt zusammen und führen Sie ihn aus dem Schlitz.
Der Dongle dient als Kommunikationsbrücke zwischen Clip
und Smartphone. Bringen Sie den 16PIN OBDII Stecker bitte in
Ihrem Fahrzeug an (1). Die Buchse bendet sich üblicherweise
in der Nähe des Lenkrads. Bitte entnehmen Sie die genaue
Position aus der Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Fahrzeuges oder
wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller Ihres Fahrzeuges.

INSTALLATION AND DEINSTALLATION INSTALLAZIONE E DISINSTALLAZIONE
The SENSORSAFE clip needs to be attached to the harness
system of the seat. Both parts of the clip have slots for
connecting it to the harness system.
For installation of both parts please proceed as follows:
• Grasp the harness under the shoulder pads and guide it
from back to front through the upper slot of the clip (2).
• Guide the harness behind the clip and insert it from back to
front in the lower slot.
La clip SENSORSAFE deve essere attaccata al sistema di
imbracatura del seggiolino. Entrambe le parti della clip hanno
fessure per connetterla al sistema di imbracatura.
Per l’installazione di entrambe le parti, proseguire come segue:
• Aerrare l’imbracatura sotto le imbottiture delle spalle e
accompagnarla dal dietro al davanti attraverso la fessura

dietro al davanti nella fessura inferiore.
NOTE! Make sure the harness straightly runs through both
slots and is not twisted (3).
To uninstall the clip, push the harness together and guide it
out of the slots.
NOTA BENE! accertarsi che l’imbracatura scorra agevolmente attraverso entrambe le fessure e che non sia
attorcigliata (3).
Per disinstallare la clip, spingere l’imbracatura e
accompagnarla al di fuori delle fessure.
The dongle acts as a communication bridge between the clip
and the smartphone. Please plug the 16PIN OBDII port in your
vehicle (1). The socket is usually located close to the steering
wheel. Refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for exact location
or contact the car manufacturer.

smartphone. Collegarlo alla porta 16PIN OBDII del veicolo (1).
La presa si trova vicino al volante. Per conoscere la posizione

ANSCHNALLEN MIT GURT UND CLIP
Führen Sie zunächst die Anpassung der Sitzeinstellungen
anhand der Bedienungsanleitung des Sitzes durch. Schnallen
Sie ihr Kind wie in der Bedienungsanleitung des Sitzes
beschrieben im Kindersitz an (siehe Kapitel: „ANSCHNALLEN
MIT GURTSYSTEM“).
Führen Sie nach dem Schließen des Gurtschlosses bitte
folgende zusätzliche Schritte durch:
• Schließen Sie den Clip mit einem hörbaren KLICK (4).
• Schieben Sie zunächst den geschlossenen Clip nach
unten – in Richtung des Gurtschlosses.
• Ziehen Sie behutsam am Zentralverstellgurt, um die
Schultergurte soweit zu straen, bis diese am Körper Ihres
Kindes anliegen (5).
• Positionieren Sie den Clip direkt unterhalb der
Schulterpolster (6).
HINWEIS! Achten Sie stets darauf, dass das Gurtsystem
stra angezogen ist und die Gurte nicht verdreht sind.
Um den Clip wieder zu önen, drücken Sie bitte die Taste
in der Mitte des Clips und ziehen Sie die beiden Teile
auseinander (7).

RESTRAINING THE CHILD WITH HARNESS AND CLIP AGGANCIARE IL BAMBINO CON L’IMBRACATURA E

Adjust the seat according to the instructions in the user guide
of the seat. Restrain your child as described in the user guide
of the seat (see chapter: “STRAPPING WITH HARNESS
SYSTEM”).
Regolare il seggiolino in base alle istruzioni riportata nella
relativa guida per l’utente. Agganciare il bambino nel modo
descritto nella guida per l’utente del seggiolino (vedere il
capitolo: “LEGARE CON IL SISTEMA DI IMBRACATURA”).
After closing the belt buckle please also proceed with the
following additional steps:
• Close the clip with an audible CLICK (4).
• Push the closed clip down rst – towards the buckle.
• Pull cautiously on central adjustment belt in order to tighten
shoulder belts until they t your child’s body (5).
• Position the clip directly beneath the shoulder pads (6).
Dopo avere chiuso la bbia della cintura, eseguire le altre
procedure sotto elencate:
• Chiudere la clip; la chiusura è confermata da uno SCATTO
(4).
• Per prima cosa spingere in giù la clip chiusa verso la bbia.
• Tirare attentamente la cintura di regolazione centrale in

To open the clip please press the button in the middle and pull
both parts apart (7).

Download und Einrichtung
Die SENSORSAFE App kann kostenfrei im Apple AppStore
oder im Google Playstore heruntergeladen werden.
Für die Nutzung des SENSORSAFE Clips in Verbindung mit
der SENSORSAFE App, stellen Sie sicher, dass:
• die App auf Ihrem Smartphone installiert ist.
• Bluetooth eingeschaltet ist.
• der Clip geschlossen und mit dem Smartphone verbunden ist.
• die SENSORSAFE App Ihnen Mitteilungen senden darf.
• der Dongle korrekt im Fahrzeug installiert ist.
Vor der ersten Verwendung
Vor der ersten Nutzung müssen Clip und Smartphone
miteinander verbunden werden. Danach erwacht das System
immer automatisch, wenn der Clip geschlossen wird und
Bluetooth auf Ihrem Smartphone aktiviert ist.
Aktivieren Sie Bluetooth auf Ihrem Smartphone, ö nen Sie
die SENSORSAFE App und führen Sie alle nötigen Schritte
zur Registrierung durch. Schließen Sie den Clip. Eine LED
leuchtet zweimal auf, wenn der Clip beginnt, Informationen zu
senden. Jetzt sehen Sie den SENSORSAFE Clip in der Liste
und können SENSORSAFE mit Ihrem Smartphone verbinden.
Gehen Sie bei der ersten Verbindung wie folgt vor:

The SENSORSAFE App can be downloaded in Apple
AppStore or Google Playstore for free.

Before rst use
Before using SENSORSAFE for the rst time, the clip and
your smartphone need to be connected. In future the system
will awake automatically, when the clip is getting closed and
Bluetooth is activated on your smartphone.

Prima di utilizzare SENSORSAFE per la prima volta, la clip
e lo smartphone devono essere collegati. In futuro il sistema
si collegherà automaticamente quando la clip si avvicina e il

Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone, open the
SENSORSAFE application and follow the instructions for
registration. Close the clip. A LED will light up twice when
the clip starts to send information. Now you can see the
SENSORSAFE clip in the list of devices and you can connect
your phone with the clip.
For connecting please proceed as follows:
For using the SENSORSAFE clip connected to the
SENSORSAFE App please make sure that:
• the App is installed on your smartphone.
• Bluetooth is turned on.
• the clip is buckled and your smartphone is connected to it.
• the SENSORSAFE App is allowed to send notications.
• the dongle has been installed in the car correctly.

Verbindung mehrerer Clips mit einem Smartphone
Es können bis zu 8 Clips mit einem Smartphone und
Nutzerkonto verbunden werden. Verknüpfen Sie dazu Ihr
Smartphone nacheinander mit den einzelnen Clips, indem
Sie in der App auf „weitere Clips hinzufügen“ drücken und die
vorgegebenen Schritte durchführen.
Verbindung mehrerer Smartphones mit einem Clip
Ein Clip kann mit verschiedenen Smartphones und
Nutzerkonten verbunden werden. Führen Sie dafür die
Installationsschritte mit jedem einzelnen Smartphone durch.
Die aktive Nutzung von SENSORSAFE ist zu einem Zeitpunkt
nur mit einem Smartphone möglich.

You can connect 8 clips with one smartphone and account.
Therefore connect your smartphone with each clip one after
another by clicking “connect new devices” and following
further instructions.
È possibile collegare 8 clip con uno smartphone e un account.

with one smartphone.

FUNKTIONWEISE
Nachdem Sie den SENSORSAFE Clip am Sitz installiert
und mit der App verbunden haben, kommuniziert er in
geschlossenem Zustand mit Ihrem Smartphone. Eine LED
am Clip leuchtet zweimal auf, sobald die Datenübertragung
beginnt.
Folgende Informationen gibt der geschlossene Clip
durchgehend an die SENSORSAFE App weiter, wenn eine
Bluetooth-Verbindung besteht:
• Verschluss-Status des Clips (geönet oder geschlossen)
• Umgebungstemperatur
• Batterieladestatus
Desweiteren alarmiert Sie SENSORSAFE in potentiellen
Gefahrensituationen. Sie erhalten Warnungen auf Ihrem
Smartphone, wenn:
• sich die Umgebungstemperatur des Kindes einem kritischen
Level nähert (zu hoch oder zu niedrig).
• Sie einen bestimmten Radius um ihr Auto verlassen und der
Clip noch geschlossen ist.
• die Bluetooth-Verbindung zu SENSORSAFE abbricht.
• der Clip länger als zwei Stunden am Stück geschlossen ist.
Wenn Sie sich zu lange außerhalb eines bestimmten Radius
um Ihr Fahrzeug benden und der Clip noch geschlossen ist,
werden die von Ihnen in der App hinterlegten Notfallkontakte
alarmiert.

FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE PRINCIPIO DI FUNZIONAMENTO
After the SENSORSAFE clip has been installed on the seat
and connected to the App, it will communicate with your
smartphone when it is closed. A LED on the clip will light up
twice when data transfer starts.

The following information will be sent to the application
permanently by the closed clip, when connected via Bluetooth:
• closing status of the clip (open or closed)
• ambient temperature
• battery status

If you stay outside of the radius for too long and the clip is still
closed, the emergency contacts, that you placed in the App,
will get notied.

Die SENSORSAFE App weist Sie auf den Batteriestatus
des Clips hin. Außerdem blinkt die LED am Clip nach dem
Schließen zehnmal schnell, wenn der Batterieladestatus
gering ist. Bitte wechseln Sie rechtzeitig die Batterie, um
SENSORSAFE weiterhin nutzen zu können.
Um die Batterie zu wechseln, muss das Fach auf der
Rückseite des Clips mit einem Schraubenzieher geönet
werden. Nach dem Austausch der Batterie ist der Clip wieder
in der SENSORSAFE App sichtbar. Sollte dies nicht der Fall
sein, überprüfen Sie bitte den Zustand der Batterie.
Achten Sie beim Wechsel der Batterie auf folgende Punkte:
• Bewahren Sie Batterien außer Reichweite von Kindern auf.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich die empfohlenen Batterien
des Typs CR2032.

The SENSORSAFE application shows the battery status of
the clip. Also the LED on the clip will ash ten times after
closing when the battery is running low. Please replace the
battery in time to be able to further use SENSORSAFE.

To replace the battery please open the compartment located
at the rear of the clip with a screwdriver. After changing the
battery the clip can be seen in the SENSORSAFE application.
In case you do not see it please check the status of the
battery.
