Attention! This use r manual is an essen tial part of this p roduct.
The user manual should be rea d carefu lly befo re you use the product
for the first tim e. If the pro duct is g iven to someone for temporary
use, be sur e to enclose user manual to it .
- Do not mis use the produc t
- Do not rem ove warning signs and protect them fr om abras ion,
because they con tain info rmatio n about safe operation of the
produc t.
-Do not l ook into the laser be am or its reflec tion, with unprot ected
eye or thro ugh an opt ical ins trument. Do not point the laser beam at
peopl e or animals witho ut the need. You can da zzle them.
-To protect yo ur eyes close them or look aside.
- Always i nstall the produ ct in such a way, so that laser line is b elow
or above e ye level.
- Do not le t unauthorized p eople enter th e zone of produc t operation .
- Store the p roduc t beyond r each of children an d unauthorized
people.
- It is proh ibited to disa ssemble or re pair the produ ct yourself. E ntrust
product repair to qualified personnel and use original spare parts
only.
- Do not us e the produc t in explosive e nvironmen t, close to fla mmable
materials.
- Laser intensive glasses are used fo r bette r recogn ition of the laser
beam, do not use them f or other purposes. Laser g lasses d o not
protect from laser radiation as well as ultraviolet radiation and reduce
color perception.

- Avoid heating the ba tteries to avoid th e risk of ex plosio n and
elect rolyte leakage. In case of liquid contact wi th skin, wash it
immediately wit h soap and water. In case of contac t with eyes, flush
with cle an water during 10 mi nutes and consu lt the doctor.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Cross li ne laser NEO G220 CONDT ROL is intended to bu ild and ch eck
vertical and horizontal planes and lines, as well as up and down laser
dots (zen ith and nadir).
The pro duct has 2 opera ting modes:
- locked compensator, to build inclined planes and lines;
- automatic levelling to project horizontal and vertical planes
and lines. Levelling function allows to automatically compensate
irregularities within self-levelling range of ±4,5°.
Pulse mo de allows using las er receiver to incr ease working range of
the instrument or to work when laser is ha rd to be def ined in bright
lighting conditions.

OPERATION
Before s tart operation remo ve the battery cover, inser t the batteries,
observing correct polarity. Put battery cover back.
Use alka line AA batt eries only, all ba tteries sho uld be of the sam e type
and bran d with the s ame charge level. Re place ba tteries if batt ery
charge level indicator turns red while operation.
Place an instrument on a fir m and stable sur face or a tripo d.
Move the s witch bar to choo se necessar y operating mo de:
1) Automatic levelling, to build horizontal and vertical planes and
lines:
Move the switch bar to unlocked position . Comp ensator is
unlock ed. If the prod uct is out of t he range of auto matic comp ensation
it will emit sound signal.
Shor t press button t o turn on necess ary laser plan es.
Short press bu tton to tu rn on/off pulse mode that allows
workin g with laser receiver. In this mode pulse mo de indic ator will
turn green.
To switch of f the produc t move the switc h bar to locked pos ition .
1) Locked compensator, to build inclined planes and lines:
Move the switch bar to locked p osition . Compensator i s locked.
Short press bu tton to turn on the pr oduct . Horizontal plan e
will switch on. Locked pendulum indicator turns red.

ACCURACY CHECK
Check of horizontal line
Check of h orizontal lin e is carried out b y using 2 walls loc ated opposit e
each oth er at a distance of 5 m.
1. Put the instrument as clos e as possi ble to the wall so that laser
emitt ers are locate d opposite the wa ll.
2. Move lev er lock to u nlocked position and switch on horizontal
plane.
Mark loc ation of horizo ntal line on the wa ll as A1.
3. Turn the ins tument by 1 80° and mark loca tion of horizontal line on
another wall as B1.
4. Turn the ins trument to the righ t. Measur e vertical deviation of
horizontal line f rom poin t B1. If devia tion exceeds 1,5 mm – please
contact service center.

5. Repeat a ctions in para graph 4 by turnin g the instrument to the lef t. 6. Install the ins trument c loser to t he oppos ite wall. M ark location of
horizontal line o n the wall as B2.
7. Turn the instrument by 180 ° and mark location of hor izontal line on
the oppo site wall as A2.
8. Measure verti cal distance between marks A1, A2 and B1, B2. If
distance between measu red values exceeds 3 mm – please contac t
service center.

Check of vertical line
Use a plumb bob as a refe rence of a verti cal. Place the in strument at
distance of 1,5 m fr om the plumb bob.
1. Move lev er lock to u nlocked position, then sw itch on vertica l
plane and align vertical laser line with the low point of plumb bob.
2. If deviation between the laser line and the plumb line exceeds
±0,3 mm p er 1 m of the plumb bob length (for a 2,5 m plumb b ob
deviation shouldn’t exceed 0,75 mm) please contact service center.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Attention! The prod uct is an a ccurate optical mechani c device a nd
requires careful handling. Check the accuracy before using.
To increase t he opera ting time and avoid the risk of un intentional
blindness switch the laser on only when you are ready to make
measurements.
If operated near objects or air streams with different from the
environment temperature the laser line may tremble due to
hetero geneity of th e atmosphere . The longer is th e distance, th e more
trembling can be observed
The width of the las er line increases with the increasing of the
operating dist ance. Th e layout should be ma de along t he axis of the
laser line. For max imum accuracy, use the middl e porti on of the laser
line.
It shoul d be noted that the shap e of the las er line on the objec t’s
surface (e.g., walls, ceilings, etc.) depends on the curvature and tilt of
the surface relative to the laser plane.
Maintenance of the following recommendations will extend the life
of the dev ice:
- Transport and carry the product only with locked compensator.
- Keep the pr oduct clean and p rotected from any bumps, du st and
dampness; do not allow getting moisture, dust or other dirt inside of
the prod uct.
- In case if any moisture goes in to the product, re move the batteri es
and take it to the ser vice center.
- Do not keep or use the device for a long time a t high humi dity
conditions.
- Keep the in strument clea n and wipe it with a cl ean and soft cl oth.
Mishandling of the following rules can cause electrolyte leakage
from the batteries or other damages:
- Remove th e batteries fr om the product i f you do not use it fo r a long
time.
- Do not use different bat tery types wi th different c harge levels.
- Do not lea ve discharged ba tteries in the p roduct.

environmentally friendly recycle of wastes.
WARRANTY
All Condtrol GmbH products go through post-prod uctio n control and
are gover ned by the followin g warranty terms . The buyer’s right t o
claim about defects and general provisions of the current legislation
do not exp ire.
1) Condtr ol GmbH ag rees to eliminate al l defects in the pr oduct,
discovered whil e warran ty peri od, that re present the defect in
material or workmanship in full volume and at its own expense.
2) The warr anty pe riod is 24 mo nths and s tart s from the date of
purchase by end consumer (see the original supporting document).
3) The Warra nty doe sn’t cover defects resulting from wear and tear
or impro per use, ma lfunc tion of the produc t caused by failur e to
observe the instructions of this user manual, untimely maintenance
and ser vice and i nsuff icien t care, the u se of non-original accessori es
and spare parts. Modifications in design of the product relieve the
seller from responsibility for warranty works. The warranty does not
cover cosmetic da mage, that d oesn’t hi nder nor mal oper ation of th e
product.
4) Condtr ol GmbH re serves the right to decide on replacement or
repair of the devic e.
5) Other cl aims not ment ioned abov e, are not cover ed by the warr anty.

not rene wed or extended.
7) Condt rol GmbH i s not liabl e for loss of profi t or inconvenienc e
assoc iated wit h a defec t of the device, rental cost of alternative
equipm ent for the perio d of repair.
This war ranty a pplies to German law e xcept pr ovision of the United
Nations Convention on con tract s for the international sale of goods
(CISG).
