The MPP50 Hardware Kit supports the IP Module for the CDM-570L modem. The Kit can be installed at the
factory or added as a field-installed upgrade to CDM-570L modems currently deployed.

1. Disconnect the AC power to the unit.

2. Remove the top screws on the top of the modem.

6. It is imperative to perform visual inspection of the alignment of the board to ensure

the pins on the MPP50 are perfectly aligned with the female header. Allow time to
ensure the pins are perfectly aligned.

7. Replace the Top Cover. Re-install the top screws.

8. Turn on the AC power to the modem. Modem will re-initialize.
