Installation
2
2 For wall mounting:
2.1 Use the unit’s bracket as a guide to pre-drill holes; then install the unit to the wall.
2.2 Place the unit in the bracket.
2.3 Before installing the supply pressure hose, let the air flow for some seconds, so as to
remove all dirt and humidity.
2.4 Install the supply pressure hose and the tire hose.
THE SUPPLY PRESSURE SHOULD NOT EXCEED 175 Psi (12 Bar). IF NECESSARY, USE A
PRESSURE REGULATOR.
2.5 Plug Tire Gauge into a compatible power supply.
3.1 Set pressure using buttons and .
3.2 Connect chuck to tire ; inflation procedure will start automatically.
Important: DO NOT use to inflate wheels smaller than 10 inches in diameter.
3.3 If flat, push button to start inflation process.
3.4 Wait for the “beep” .
3.5 Remove chuck f rom the tire that has been inflated to the desired pressure and
repeat the process for any other tires. If you intend to fill the same pressure value just
connect chuck to the new tire and wait for the beep.
3.6 When set pressure is higher than 40 PSI , and starts with zero pressure, the unit will
stop at 40 PSI and ask for confirmation. Check tire and press the green button to
complete tire inflation procedure.
Maintenance
4
To ensure proper performance and longer life, some procedures are recommended:
4.1 Never allow supply pressure to exceed 175 Psi (12 Bar).
4.2 Chuck must be replaced every time air loss is noticed. ONLY USE AN “OPEN END”
CHUCK”. A closed end chuck will not work properly.
4.3 It is recommended to keep the air line free from dirt to avoid clogging the filter.
4.4 It is recommended to perform a regu lar cleaning on the front panel using soap
and water.
Troubleshooting
5
Er1, Er2, Er4 or Er8 on screen –disconnect tire and reset power, if it continues
contact service.
Blank Display –unplug, wait 3 minutes and replug. If continue contact
service..
If a constant air leak is noticed in the tire hose –hoses are probably installed
in reverse position.
Er3 on screen - verify the incoming pressure, it is probably lower than
necessary. It is also possible to have a clogged incoming filter at your unit, in
this case unscrew the hose connector at the unit’s valve and clean the filter.
Er7/Chuc on screen - verify if chuck is clogged and change it for an “open-
end” one. It also appears if chuck stays connected to the tire more than 15
seconds.
If Tire Gauge does not reach the desired pressure, and gives a higher or a
lower value instead –look for air leaks on hose, connections and chuck.
If inflation takes a long time - clean airline or filter.
If Tire Gauge does not perform inflation - push “FLAT TIRE” button if tire is
empty, or replace chuck.
If beep sounds when there is no tire connected to the hose - verify whether
chuck is clogged or a “closed end” style and unclog or replace it with an
“open-end” style.
If it seems that Tire Gauge is functioning by itself without stopping- verify
whether chuck is clogged or a “closed end” style and unclog or replace it
with an “open-end” style.
Read and follow all the maintenance instructions provided in this manual to keep the
unit in good operating condition. Refer to the other materials received with the unit
and to the service bulletins from the manufacturer for additional instructions on proper
maintenance and service. Regular inspections and proper maintenance are essential
to preventing accidents and injuries.
