START - UP
18-Put in burning bench
17-Check noise with small speaker and RCA shorted plug
16-Regular, regular mono, balanced stereo and balanced mono
15-Check the signal with 8 and 4 load in
14-Check the protection circuit both channels
13-Adjust the bias and offset
12-Check the sequence of relay clicking
11-Turn on the unit and check the rails driver and offset
10-Turn off the unit and remove by pass
9-If the unit is OK increase the voltage up to 120V
8-Apply 10V AC from variable transformer and check the rail and driver voltages
7-Connect speaker cables, regular and balanced inputs
6-Connect the unit with variable transformer
5-Connect the unit in bypass mode
4-Turn the bias all the way to 0 volts
3-Connect the jumpers for 120 Volts
2-Check screws and bolts
1-check all wires and components

17. Plug unit again and check rail and pre-driver voltage.

CD/DVD-1 DAC PCB OFFSET ADJUSTMENTS (B2A7XR07)
With multimeter NEG probe at c117 GND on output PCB B2A2XR02 and positive
probe at RCA left output jack.
When offset is positive adjust-R618 on left channel
When offset is negative adjust-R617
When offset is positive adjust-R-620 on right channel adjust-R-619
Offset should be less than 2mV
Sample: offset at 6mV install between 200k-300k resistor.
Check HDCD LED on display with HDCD test disc on track 2.
Video signal test (B2A6XR06)
Check all video levels and offset-as shown on video signal test sheet.
Audio precision test
Install TEAC test CD for 1kHz track2 and 20kHz track6
Set-up unit for all digital outputs
