To prevent the risk of strangulation: Do not attach additional strings or straps to the toy.

Cleaning Limpieza

The cleaning of the Soft and Sprint Turtles must only be carried out by an adult.

Remove the battery compartment before washing, refer to

Step 2 instructions.

When the toy is completely dry, re-insert the battery

compartment.

•

Protect the toy against heat, dust, sand, and water.

2. This product uses (2) 1.5v AA batteries. To replace the batteries: Open the hook and loop strap located on the

bottom of the mother turtle. Remove the battery compartment, loosen the screw holding the battery compartment cover with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the battery cover. Insert the new batteries; checking to make sure the polarity (+/-) on the batteries matches the markings on the product. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure with the screw. Re-insert the battery compartment into the bottom of the mother turtle. Make sure that the

hook and loop strap is closed securely.

2. Este producto utiliza 2 pilas AA de 1.5 v. Para reemplazar las pilas prosiga lo siguiente: Abra el sujetador de gancho con pasador ubicado en la parte inferior de la tortuga madre. Retire el compartimiento para pilas, aﬂoje el tornillo que sujeta la tapa del compartimiento para pilas con un destornillador Phillips y retire la tapa para pilas. Inserte las nuevas pilas. 1. The Soft and Sprint Turtles can be activated by the child pressing the back of the mother turtle. The fun movement of the turtle will stimulate the child to crawl on his hands and knees. As the mother and baby turtle move, the child can listen to the fun melody.

Battery Replacement

This product uses 2 AA 1.5 volt batteries. Batteries must only be ﬁtted by an adult. Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.

• To replace batteries: remove the battery compartment, loosen the screw holding the battery compartment cover with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the battery cover. Insert the new batteries; checking to make sure the polarity (+/-) on the batteries matches the markings on the product. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure with the screw.

• Always remove exhausted batteries from the product to avoid damage by possible battery leakage.

• Always remove batteries when the product is not going to be used for long periods of time.

• It is recommended to use alkaline batteries of the same type, in this product.

• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad) batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.

• Always dispose of batteries properly.

• Do not short circuit battery terminals.

Reposición de pilas

Este producto utiliza 2 pilas AA de 1.5 v. Las pilas sólo deben ser colocadas por un adulto. Siempre mantenga las pilas y las herramientas fuera del alcance de los niños.

• Para reemplazar las pilas prosiga lo siguiente: Retire el compartimiento para pilas, aﬂoje el tornillo que sujeta la tapa del compartimiento para pilas con un destornillador Phillips y retire la tapa para pilas. Inserte las nuevas pilas. Veriﬁque para asegurarse de que la polaridad (+/-) de las pilas coincide con las marcas en el producto. • Retire siempre las pilas usadas del producto para evitar que un posible escape lo dañe.

• Retire siempre las pilas si el producto no será utilizado por un período prolongado.

• Se recomienda usar pilas alcalinas del mismo tipo en este producto.

• No mezcle pilas alcalinas, estándar (de carbono-zinc) o recargables (de níquel-cadmio). No mezcle pilas nuevas con pilas usadas.

• Siempre deseche las pilas en forma apropiada.

• No provoque un cortocircuito en los terminales de las pilas.
