in Océ DocSetter V3
OCR Module
This text recognition module considerably
increases the value of scanned documents
since these can now be used to carry out
text searches, indexing and production
of searchable PDF files. Searching can be
performed within open documents in Océ
DocSetter, automatically after scanning, or
across the computer’s hard drive. Hits are
shown in Océ DocSetter as a hyperlink –
a simple click of the mouse and the document with the highlighted text string is
displayed in Océ DocSetter.

By using the Batch Wizard you can very
easily produce searchable PDF or PDF/A-1b
documents without user interaction. The
recognized text may be pasted into any
application.
