Printing and tape binding combined:
the ultimate in convenience
Producing printed documents with an Océ printer is easy. It’s a productive
machine which delivers printed sets … ready for finishing. Even better
is a complete system that produces bound documents directly after
they’re printed. And, that is certainly possible now with the
Océ DFS30 tape binder.
The Océ DFS30 tape binder can be
attached to Océ’s medium/high volume
black and white, cutsheet printers. This
means that sheets can be printed and
tape bound in one simple and convenient
operation. The physical integration of
printer and binder ensures a smooth,
trouble-free process, reducing manual
intervention to an absolute minimum.
Printed A4 sheets are delivered to the
Océ DFS30, where they are collated into
sets. A pre-glued tape strip is then fed
from a cassette. The sheets are aligned
and binding is achieved by melting the
glue. Bound documents are neatly stacked
ready for distribution. Card covers can be
added to guarantee that a professionallooking document is produced every time.
And, flush-cut tabs can be used to create
sections in the document too.
Tape strips are available in four colours:
• Black
• Dark Blue
• Red
• White
There are 100 strips in each cartridge
and loading a new cartridge takes only a
few seconds. And, with up to 120 sheets
(240 pages) in a document, the tape
binder is able to handle a wide variety of
applications: reports, user and technical
manuals, training manuals, phone
books and price lists are just a few of the
possibilities.
The Océ DFS30 can operate as a tape
binder or can be bypassed. This allows the
connection of an additional finisher such
as a booklet maker, for example, in the
future.
All in all, the Océ DFS30 tape binder is
quick to set up and very easy to operate via
a simple control panel.
