<Symptom> The image density is light.
<Cause> Shock caused during transport of the Main Body and in other occasions creates a misalignment and distortion in the Scanner Unit which leads to the symptom that the image density is light. <Factory Measures> Change the shape of Pressure Spring, add holes for mounting the Leaf Spring to the Scanner Stay (R) [C] and fix the Leaf Spring [D] with cross-recess screws as to prevent the misalignment and distortion in the Scanner Unit. Stepped screws for mounting the Scanner Unit is discontinued.

Service Work:
If the symptom occurs in the product A or B below, re-install the Scanner Unit. If the symptom is not solved, replace the Laser Scanner Unit by a new one. Be aware that the replacement should be done depending on the types of product.

-Product type A and B: Mount the Laser Scanner Unit by using stepped screws.
-Product type B: No need to use the Leaf Spring although it has holes for mounting the Spring.
-Product type C: If it is necessary to replace the Laser Scanner Unit by a new one, be sure that the Leaf Spring is be mounted.
