The Canon 110 ED 20 is an improved version of 110 ED which won popularity as the best pocket-size camera. With its bright lens, date imprinting mechanism and other remarkable features, the 110 ED 20 will give you the fine resolution of photos. Please read the in structions carefully before using the camera to become acquainted with its many features.

Viewfinder Information: Rangefinder, field-of-view
frame with two different parallax correction marks (Im and 0.6m), overexposure warning lamp (red lamp to the right of the picture frame) and camera shake warning lamp/battery checker/ mechanical shutter release signal (yellow lamp to the left of the picture frame), display of date set (appears when the shutter button is

Load the Battery
Press the knob for opening the back cover in

the direction of the arrow and open the back cover.
2 Pull the battery chamber cover towards you.
Insert the battery according to the diagram

shown inside the back cover. Check to insure that the poles are in their correct positions.
4 Replace the battery chamber cover.
• Since cold weather (below —10 C or 14 F) affects batteries, hold the camera close to your body until just before using it to keep it warm.

Slide down the date switch on the side of the body to "ON". Look into the viewfinder while pressing down the switch. If the yellow lamp on the left lights up, the battery has sufficient voltage. Use a silver oxide battery; either an
Eveready 544 or Mallory PX 28 (6V).
• When the battery is exhausted, the film winding knob will be locked and the shutter can not be released. Replace the battery or switch over to the mechanical shutter.
• After removing the battery chamber cover,
the electronic shutter is switched over to the
mechanical shutter (1/125 sec.) automatically.
