aggressive or flammable mediums.
• Do not supply the medium connectors with any liquids.
• Do not put any loads on the housing (e.g. by placing objects on
it or standing on it).
• Do not make any external modifications to the device housings.
Do not paint the housing parts or screws.
To prevent injuries:
• Ensure that the system cannot be activated unintentionally.
• Installation and maintenance work may be carried out only by
authorized technicians with the appropriate tools.
• After an interruption in the power supply or pneumatic supply,
ensure that the process is restarted in a defined or controlled
manner.
• The device may be operated only when in perfect condition and
in consideration of the operating instructions.
• The general rules of technology must be observed for application
planning and operation of the device.
Failure to observe this operating manual and its operating

5.1. Operating conditions of the devices
1. Individual assembly / Block assembly
The piezoelectric actuator Type 6115 is suitable for individual and
block assembly (see „Electrical data“).
2. Ambient temperature range
The devices are suitable for an ambient temperature range of
-25 °C ... +65 °C (temperature class T6).
The piezoelectric actuator must be installed in a housing with a protection class of at least IP 20 according to EN 60529.
The ambient temperature range of the piezoelectric actuator must
not drop below -25 °C or exceed +65 °C both for individual and
block assembly.
The piezoelectric actuator may be used for switching non-combustible media only.
The piezoelectric actuator shall only be operated in a built-in state,
or if otherwise can be guaranteed that explosive atmosphere will
penetrate into the interior valve only infrequently or for a short period.
The piezoelectric actuator may be connected to certified intrinsically
safe circuits only.
The supply must not exceed the specified limit values.
