Bitte lesen Sie vor Gebrauch des Gerätes die Gebrauchsanweisung
sorgfältig durch und bewahren Sie sie auf.

Braun Silk·épil 7 SkinSpa bietet ein komplettes Körperpflegesystem:

• Der Epilierkopf (2) entfernt kürzeste Haare (0,5 mm) an der Wurzel.

• Der Peeling-Bürstenaufsatz (8a) entfernt durch sanfte Mikrovibrationen

trockene Hautzellen und verbessert sichtbar das Hautbild.

Das Gerät eignet sich für Trocken- und Nassanwendung.

Achtung

• Aus hygienischen Gründen sollten Sie das Gerät nicht gemeinsam mit
anderen Personen benutzen.

• Dieses Gerät ist mit einem Spezialkabel mit integriertem Netzteil für
Sicherheitskleinspannung ausgestattet. Es dürfen weder Teile aus­getauscht noch Veränderungen vorgenommen werden, da sonst
Stromschlaggefahr besteht.

•

• Kinder über 8 Jahre sowie Personen mit eingeschränkten physischen,

sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten bzw. fehlender Erfahrung oder
Kenntnis dürfen dieses Gerät nur verwenden, wenn ihnen die sichere
Verwendung erklärt wurde und sie bei der Verwendung beaufsichtigt
werden und die möglichen Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen das Gerät
nicht als Spielzeug benutzen. Kinder dürfen ohne Beaufsichtigung keine
Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten ausführen.

• Das laufende Gerät sollte nicht mit anderen Hautpartien (z. B. Wimpern,
Kopfhaaren usw.), Kleidern und Schnüren in Kontakt kommen, um jede
Verletzungsgefahr, ein Blockieren oder ein Beschädigen des Gerätes zu
vermeiden.

Dieses Gerät ist geeignet für die Verwendung im Bad und in
der Dusche. Aus Sicherheitsgründen kann es nur kabellos
verwendet werden.

Aufladen

• Bitte laden Sie das Gerät vor dem Gebrauch auf. Für optimale Leistung
empfehlen wir, das Gerät immer im vollgeladenen Zustand zu benutzen.
Schließen Sie das ausgeschaltete Gerät über das Spezialkabel ans Netz
an und laden es ca. eine Stunde.

• Die Ladekontrollleuchte (5) blinkt grün (+), solange das Gerät geladen
wird. Nach Vollladung leuchtet die Ladekontrollleuchte dauerhaft grün.
Sie können das Gerät nun kabellos verwenden.

• Sobald die Ladekontrollleuchte rot blinkt (–), sollten Sie das Gerät über
das Spezialkabel ans Netz anschließen, um es nachzuladen.

• Eine Akkuladung reicht für ca. 40 Minuten kabellosen Betrieb.

• Durch Nass-Anwendung kann sich die Betriebszeit verringern.

Wir empfehlen, das Gerät nach jeder Benutzung nachzuladen.

• Die ideale Umgebungstemperatur für das Laden, die Benutzung und
Aufbewahrung des Gerätes liegt zwischen 15 °C und 35 °C. Bei erheb­lichen Temperaturabweichungen kann sich die Ladezeit verlängern oder
die Akku-Kapazität verringern.

Überhitzungsschutz

Um das Gerät vor Überhitzung zu schützen, kann es vorkommen, dass die
Ladekontrollleuchte für 8 Sekunden leuchtet und sich das Gerät dann
automatisch ausschaltet. Drehen Sie in diesem Fall den Schalter auf die
Position «0» zurück und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.

So verwenden Sie das Gerät

Drücken Sie die Freigabetaste (4a) und drehen den Schalter (4) im
Uhrzeigersinn. Wählen Sie Geschwindigkeit «I» oder «II».

Die Smart-light-Funktion (3) sorgt für ideale Lichtverhältnisse: Solange das
Gerät eingeschaltet ist, leuchtet das Licht.

Um den Epilierkopf abzunehmen, drücken Sie die Entriegelungstaste (6).

I Epilation

Tipps für die Epilation

Wenn Sie bisher noch keinen Epilierer verwendet oder längere Zeit nicht
epiliert haben, kann es etwas dauern, bis sich Ihre Haut an die Epilation
gewöhnt hat. Der zunächst stärker empfundene Zupfschmerz wird bei
wiederholter Anwendung deutlich geringer, denn die Zahl der zu entfer­nenden Haare nimmt ab und die Haut gewöhnt sich an die Epilation.

Am besten epilieren Sie beim ersten Mal am Abend, damit eventuelle
Hautrötungen über Nacht abklingen können. Um die Haut zu ent­spannen, empfehlen wir die Verwendung einer Feuchtigkeitscreme nach
der Epilation.

Die Epilation ist leichter und angenehmer, wenn die Haare die optimale
Länge von 0,5 bis 5 mm haben. Sind die Haare länger, empfehlen wir,
zunächst zu rasieren und die Haare bis auf min. 0,5 mm Länge
nachwachsen zu lassen.

Trocken-Anwendung:
Ihre Haut muss trocken und fettfrei sein.

Nass-Anwendung:
Damit das Gerät optimal über die Haut gleiten kann, ist es wichtig, dass die
Haut wirklich feucht ist.

So epilieren Sie

Der Epilierkopf (2) muss aufgesetzt und mit dem Massage-Aufsatz (1)
versehen sein.

A Wählen Sie Geschwindigkeit: «I» für eine sanfte Epilation, «II» für eine

gründliche Epilation.

B Straffen Sie die Haut mit der freien Hand, so dass sich die Haare

aufstellen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Epilierwalze immer Hautkontakt
hat. Führen Sie das Gerät langsam, gleichmäßig und ohne Druck mit
der Schalterseite gegen die Haarwuchsrichtung. Da die Haare in unter­schiedliche Richtungen wachsen, kann es hilfreich sein, das Gerät in
verschiedene Richtungen über die Haut zu führen, um ein optimales
Ergebnis zu erzielen. Die Massage-Rollen stimulieren und entspannen
die Haut und machen die Epilation angenehmer.

C Epilation der Beine
Epilieren Sie die Beine von unten nach oben. Bei der Anwendung an

den Kniekehlen muss das Bein immer gestreckt sein.

D Epilation im Achselbereich und in der Bikinizone
Wenn die Haut noch nicht an die Epilation gewöhnt ist, sind diese

Körperzonen besonders schmerzempfindlich. Daher empfehlen wir für
die ersten Anwendungen die Geschwindigkeitsstufe «I». Bei wiederholter
Anwendung wird das Schmerzempfinden nachlassen.

Die Epilation ist leichter und angenehmer, wenn die Haare die optimale

Länge von 0,5 bis 5 mm haben. Vor dem Epilieren sollten Sie den
entsprechenden Bereich gründlich reinigen, um Rückstände zu
entfernen (z. B. Deodorant). Bei der Anwendung im Achselbereich
sollten Sie den Arm nach oben strecken, so dass die Haut gestrafft ist,
und das Gerät in verschiedene Richtungen führen. Da die Haut in
diesem Bereich nach der Epilation besonders empfindlich ist, sollten
Sie keine hautreizenden Substanzen wie z. B. alkoholhaltige Deodorants
verwenden.

E Reinigung des Epilierkopfes
1 Reinigen mit dem Bürstchen (9):

Nehmen Sie den Aufsatz ab und bürsten Sie ihn aus.
Für eine hygienische Reinigung der Pinzettenwalze empfehlen wir, die

Bürste mit Alkohol zu benetzen. Bürsten Sie die Pinzettenwalze von
hinten aus, während Sie sie von Hand drehen.

2 Reinigen mit Wasser:
Nach jeder Nassanwendung sollte das Gerät unter fließendem Wasser

abgespült werden. Nehmen Sie den Aufsatz ab. Halten Sie das Gerät
unter fließendes Wasser. Danach die Entriegelungstaste (6) drücken
und den Epilierkopf (2) abnehmen. Schütteln Sie den abgenommenen
Kopf und das Gerät kräftig aus und lassen Sie beides trocknen.
Epilierkopf nur im trockenen Zustand wieder aufsetzen.

Allgemeine Informationen zur Epilation

Bei allen Formen der Haarentfernung an der Wurzel kann es zum
Einwachsen von Haaren oder zu Hautreizungen (z. B. Brennen, Rötungen,
Jucken) kommen, abhängig auch von Ihrem jeweiligen Haut- und Haartyp.
Das sind normale Reaktionen, die auch rasch wieder abklingen. Sie können
jedoch stärker auftreten, wenn Sie zum ersten Mal epilieren oder wenn
Sie empfindliche Haut haben.

Falls diese Hautreaktionen nach 36 Stunden noch anhalten, sollten Sie
Ihren Arzt um Rat fragen. In aller Regel nehmen die Hautreaktionen und
das Schmerzempfinden nach mehrmaliger Anwendung deutlich ab.

Es kann vorkommen, dass sich die Haut durch das Eindringen von Bakterien
entzündet (z. B. wenn das Gerät über die Haut gleitet). Eine gründliche

Reinigung des Epilierkopfes vor jeder Anwendung reduziert weitestgehend
dieses Infektionsrisiko.

Falls Sie Zweifel haben, ob Sie dieses Gerät benutzen sollen, fragen Sie
bitte Ihren Arzt. In folgenden Fällen sollten Sie das Gerät nur nach ärztlichem
Rat anwenden: bei Ekzemen, Wunden, entzündeten Hautreaktionen wie
Follikulitiden (Eiterknötchen) und Krampfadern, im Bereich von Mutter­malen, bei Schwächung der Abwehrkräfte Ihrer Haut, die auftreten kann
bei Diabetes, Schwangerschaft, bei Vorliegen des Raynaud Syndroms, bei
Blutern, Candida oder Immunschwäche.

II Peeling

Peeling Tipps

Die Peeling-Bürste (8a) wurde für die Anwendung am ganzen Körper, vor
allem an den Beinen und am Dekolleté entwickelt, jedoch nicht für die
Anwendung im Gesicht.

Mit mehr als 3000 Mikrovibrationen pro Minute entfernt die Peeling-Bürste
sanft, aber gründlich trockene Hautzellen für ein sichtbar verbessertes
Hautbild.

Sie können die Peeling-Bürste einmal wöchentlich auf trockener Haut
oder beim Duschen nass anwenden. Falls Sie die Peeling-Bürste in der
Badewanne verwenden, sollten Sie sie nicht komplett ins Wasser tauchen,
weil sie so keine optimalen Peeling-Ergebnisse bietet.

Auf nasser Haut erlangen Sie mit der Peeling-Bürste vierfach bessere
Ergebnisse als mit einem manuell anzuwendenden Peeling-Produkt allein.
Für beste Ergebnisse verwenden Sie die Peeling-Bürste ganz einfach
beim Duschen mit Ihrem bevorzugten Peeling-Produkt oder Duschgel.

So verwenden Sie die Peeling-Bürste

Klicken Sie die Peeling-Bürste (8a) auf den Bürsten-Adapter (8). Dann
setzen Sie den Bürsten-Adapter auf das Gerät und lassen ihn einrasten.

A Wählen Sie die Geschwindigkeit:
«I» für empfindliche Haut
«II» für normale Haut.

B Führen Sie die Peeling-Bürste langsam mit kreisenden Bewegungen über

die Haut. Vermeiden Sie es, mit der Bürste für längere Zeit auf derselben
Stelle zu verweilen. Verwenden Sie die Bürste nicht im Gesicht.

Bei regelmäßiger Verwendung der Peeling-Bürste (z.B. einmal pro

Woche) wird das Risiko des Einwachsens von Härchen vermindert.

Abgestorbene Hautzellen werden entfernt, so dass feine, nachwachsende
Härchen an die Hautoberfläche gelangen können. Wir empfehlen, die
Peeling-Bürste 1–2 Tage vor der Epilation zu verwenden.

C Reinigen der Peeling-Bürste
Spülen Sie die Peeling-Bürste nach dem Gebrauch unter fließendem

Wasser. Für eine gründliche Reinigung können Sie Flüssigseife
verwenden. Die Bürste nach dem Reinigen ausschütteln und trocknen
lassen. Setzen Sie zur Aufbewahrung die Schutzkappe (8b) auf.

D Austausch der Peeling-Bürste
Bei wöchentlicher Verwendung sollte die Peeling-Bürste (8a) nach 12

Monaten durch eine neue ersetzt werden.

Ersatz-Bürsten (Nr. 79 Spa) erhalten Sie im Handel, beim Braun

Kundendienst oder über www.service.braun.com.

Umweltschutz

Dieses Gerat enthält Akkus. Im Sinne des Umweltschutzes darf
dieses Gerat am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit dem Hausmüll
entsorgt werden. Die Entsorgung kann über den Braun Kundendienst
oder lokal verfügbare Rückgabe- und Sammelsysteme erfolgen.

Änderungen vorbehalten.

Garantie

Als Hersteller übernehmen wir für dieses Gerät – nach Wahl des Käufers
zusätzlich zu den gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsan sprüchen gegen den
Verkäufer – eine Garantie von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum. Innerhalb dieser
Garantiezeit beseitigen wir nach unserer Wahl durch Reparatur oder

Braun Silk·épil 7 SkinSpa offers a complete system for beautiful skin:

• The epilation head (2) removes the shortest hair (0.5 mm) at the root.

• The exfoliation brush (8a) visibly refines your skin by sweeping away dry

skin cells via gentle micro-vibrations.

The appliance is suitable for dry and wet usage.

Important

• For hygienic reasons, do not share this appliance with other persons.

• This appliance is provided with a special cord set with an integrated

Safety Extra Low Voltage power supply. Do not exchange or manipulate
any part of it. Otherwise there is risk of electric shock.

•

• Children as of 8 years and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge can use this
appliance provided they have been given super­vision and instructions on its safe use and understand the hazards
involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Children must not
carry out cleaning and user maintenance unless they are supervised.

• When switched on, the appliance must never come in contact with the
hair on your head, eyelashes, textile ribbons, etc. to prevent any danger

Charging

• Before use, charge the appliance. For best performance, we
recommend that you always use a fully charged appliance. Using the
special cord set, connect the appliance to an electrical outlet with the
motor switched off. Charging time is approximately 1 hour.

• The charging light (5) flashes green (+) to show that the appliance is
being charged. When the battery is fully charged, the green charging
light shines permanently. Once fully charged, use the appliance without
the cord.

• A red flashing charging light (–) shows that it is time to recharge the
appliance. Reconnect it to an electrical outlet via the special cord set.

• A full charge provides up to 40 minutes of cordless operation time.

• Wet usage might reduce the operation time. We recommend that you

recharge the appliance after each use.

• The best temperature range for charging, using and storing the appliance
is between 15 °C and 35 °C. In case the temperature is far beyond this
range, charging might take longer and the cordless operation time might
be reduced.

Overheating protection

As a safety feature to avoid the unlikely event of the appliance overheating,
it may happen that the charging light (5) shines red for 8 seconds and then
the appliance turns off automatically. In this case, turn the switch back to
the position «0» (off) and let the appliance cool down.

How to operate the appliance

Pressing the lock key (4a) turn the switch (4) clockwise. You can select
speed «I» or «II».

The Smart light (3) shines as long as the appliance is switched on.

To change an attachment, press the release button (6).

I Epilation

Epilation tips

If you have not used an epilator before, or if you have not epilated for a
longer period of time, it may take a short time for your skin to adapt to
epilation. The discomfort experienced in the beginning will decrease
considerably with repeated use as the skin adapts to the process.
When epilating for the first time, it is advisable to epilate in the evening, so
that any possible reddening can disappear overnight. To relax the skin we
recommend applying a moisturizing cream after epilation.

Epilation is easier and more comfortable when the hair is between 0.5–5 mm
long. If hairs are longer, we recommend that you shave first and let the hair
grow back to at least 0.5 mm length.

Dry usage: Your skin must be dry and free from grease or cream.

Wet usage: Make sure your skin is very moist in order to achieve optimum
gliding conditions for the appliance.

How to epilate

Make sure that the epilation head (2) is attached and provided with the
High-Frequency Massage System (1).

A Select speed «I» for gentle epilation, speed «II» for efficient epilation.

B Always stretch your skin when epilating. Make sure that the epilation

area is in close contact with your skin. Guide the appliance in a slow,
continuous movement without pressure against the hair growth, in the
direction of the switch. As hair can grow in different directions, it may
also be helpful to guide the appliance in different directions to achieve
optimal results. The High Frequency Massage System ensures best skin
comfort during epilation.

C Leg epilation
Epilate your legs from the lower leg in an upward direction. When

epilating behind the knee, keep the leg stretched out straight.

D Underarm and bikini line epilation
Especially during the first applications these areas are particularly

sensitive to pain. Therefore, we recommend that you select speed «I» for
the first few epilation processes.

With repeated usage the pain sensation will diminish. For more comfort,

ensure that the hair is at the optimum length of 0,5–5 mm.

Before epilating, thoroughly clean the respective area to remove residues

(like deodorant). Then carefully dab dry with a towel. When epilating the
underarm, keep your arm raised up so that the skin is stretched and
guide the appliance in different directions. As skin may be more sensitive
directly after epilation, avoid using irritating substances such as
deodorants with alcohol.

E Cleaning the epilation head
1 Cleaning with the cleaning brush (9):

Remove the cap and brush it out. Thoroughly clean the tweezers from

the rear side of the epilator head with the brush dipped into alcohol.
While doing so, turn the tweezer element manually. This cleaning
method ensures best hygienic conditions for the epilation head.

2 Cleaning under running water:
After each wet usage, clean the appliance under running water. Remove

the cap and hold the appliance with the epilation head under hot
running water. Then press the release button (6) to remove the epilation
head. Shake the appliance and the epilation head to remove excess
water and leave both parts to thoroughly dry out before re-assembling.

General information on epilation

All methods of hair removal from the root can lead to irritation (e.g. itching,
discomfort and reddening of the skin) depending on the condition of the
skin and hair. This is a normal reaction and should quickly disappear, but
may be stronger when you are removing hair at the root for the first few
times or if you have sensitive skin. If, after 36 hours, the skin still shows
irritation, we recommend that you contact your physician. In general, the
skin reaction and the sensation of pain tend to diminish con­siderably with the repeated use of Silk·épil.

In some cases inflammation of the skin could occur when bacteria penetrate
the skin (e.g. when sliding the appliance over the skin). Thorough cleaning
of the epilation head before each use will minimise the risk of infection.

If you have any doubts about using this appliance, please consult your
physician. In the following cases, this appliance should only be used after
prior consultation with a physician: eczema, wounds, inflamed skin reactions
such as folliculitis (purulent hair follicles) and varicose veins around moles,
reduced immunity of the skin, e.g. diabetes mellitus, during pregnancy,
Raynaud’s disease, haemophilia, candida or immune deficiency.

The exfoliation brush (8a) has been developed for full body usage,
especially for legs, arms and décolletage. It has not been designed for
usage in the face. The gentle brushing action with more than 3000
micro-vibrations per minute effectively removes dry skin cells for a visibly
improved skin appearance.

You can use the exfoliation brush on a weekly basis on dry or wet skin
during your shower routine. However, when using it in the bathtub, do not
immerse it fully in water since this will not provide optimal exfoliation results.

Using the brush on wet skin provides 4 times better exfoliation results than
a manually applied cosmetic exfoliation product alone.
For best exfoliation results, extra comfort and a pampering experience, we
recommend to use the brush on wet skin with your preferred body scrub
or shower gel.

How to exfoliate

Click the exfoliation brush (8a) onto to the brush adapter (8).
Click the brush adapter onto the appliance.

A Select speed «I» for sensitive skin areas, speed «II» for normal skin.

B Slowly guide the exfoliation brush in circular movements over your skin

to gently refine it. Avoid holding the brush on the same skin area for
prolonged time. Do not use the exfoliation brush on your face.

The regular use of the exfoliation brush (e.g. once a week) helps

minimizing the risk of ingrown hairs: Dead skin cells are removed so
that fine, re-growing hairs can easily get through to the skin surface.
We recommend that you exfoliate at least 1–2 days before you want to
epilate.

C Cleaning the exfoliation brush
After use, rinse the exfoliation brush under running water.
If needed, you may use some liquid soap to thoroughly clean it.
Shake the brush to remove excess water and leave it to dry.
Attach the protective cover (8b) before storing the brush.

D Replacing the exfoliation brush
With weekly use, we recommend that you replace the brush unit (8a)

after 12 months. Brush refills (ref. no. 79 Spa) are available from your
retailer or Braun Service Centres or via www.service.braun.com.

Charge

• Chargez l’appareil avant utilisation. Pour des performances optimales, nous
vous recommandons de toujours utiliser un appareil complètement chargé.
Branchez le bloc moteur arrêté directe ment sur une prise électrique à
l’aide du cordon spécial. Le temps de charge est d’environ 1 heure.

• Le voyant de charge vert (5) clignote (+) pour indiquer que l’épilateur est
en charge. Lorsque la batterie est chargée, le voyant de charge s’arrête de
clignoter et reste allumé. Une fois chargé, utilisez l’appareil sur batterie
sans cordon.

• Lorsque l’indicateur rouge de faible charge (–) clignote, branchez l’appareil
sur une prise électrique pour le recharger.

• À pleine charge, l’autonomie de l’appareil est de 40 minutes.

• L’utilisation sous l’eau peut réduire l’autonomie. Nous vous recommandons

de recharger l’appareil après chaque utilisation.

• La température ambiante optimale pour charger, utiliser et stocker
l’appareil se situe entre 15 et 35 °C. Si la température dépasse cette
fourchette, le temps de chargement peut être plus long et l’autonomie
sans-fil réduite.

Protection anti-surchauffe

Un système de sécurité permet d’éviter toute surchauffe de l’appareil, il est
donc possible que l’indicateur de faible charge (5) reste allumé en perma­nence pendant 8 secondes et que l’appareil s’arrête automatiquement. Dans
ce cas, mettez l’interrupteur en position « 0 » et laissez refroidir l’appareil.

Mise en marche

Appuyez l’interrupteur (4a) et le tourner (4) dans le sens des aiguilles
d’une montre. Vous pouvez sélectionner la vitesse désirée « I » ou « II ».

La lumière Smart light (3) s’allume instantanément et reste allumée tant
que l’appareil est branché.

Pour changer un accessoire, appuyez sur le bouton d’éjection (6).
