The D132A Smoke Detector Reversing Relay Module
allows compatible control panels to sound all smoke
detectors connected to point 1 or zone 1 when a
single detector on the loop goes into alarm.

Functions

Reverse Trigger

The reverse trigger requires a low input (short to
ground) to activate. When activated, it reveses polarity
on the detector loop.

Sounding Detectors in a Loop

When an alarm occurs within a loop connected to
point 1 or zone 1, all detectors on that loop go into
alarm. To restore the devices, the sensors must be
reset.

Trouble Point

During normal operation the trouble point relay is
normally closed (NC). During a trouble condition, the
relay switches to normally open (NO).

Mounting Considerations

The module has a 3‑hole pattern for easily mounting
inside the control panel’s enclosure. Mounting screws
are provided.

Wiring Considerations

The module’s terminal block accepts wire gauges from
22 AWG to 16 AWG (ISO 0.34 mm2 to 1.5 mm2). The
maximum detector circuit length is dependent on the
wire gauge and the number of detectors on the loop.

Parts included

To restore the smoke detectors to normal, reset the
smoke detectors.
