General Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not t for com­mercial use.
• Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.

• If the appliance is used in the bathroom, disconnect it from the mains after use as nearby water presents a hazard. This also ap­plies if the appliance is switched off.
• As additional protection we recommend the installation of a fault current protection device (FI/RCD) with a rated current of not more than 30 mA in the wiring system of the bathroom. Please contact an authorised electrician for advice.

• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always have faulty cable be replaced only by the manufacturer, by our customer service or by qualied person and with a cable of the same type.

Commissioning
• Fully unwind the mains cable.
• Fit on a nozzle.
• You can dry single hair locks by concentrating the ow
of hot air with the hairdressing nozzle.
• The diffuser is the ideal solution to dry curly hair without
losing volume.
• In order to replace the attachment, rst remove the old at­tachment by pulling it off and then pushing on the new one until it clicks into place.
• Only connect the machine to a properly installed safety socket.

Ionisation function – reducing electrically charged hair
The dryer is also equipped with an ioniser, which when switched on gives off negative ions with the air that is expelled. Air Intake Grill
Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer regularly in order to avoid excessive temperatures as a result of heat accumulation.
• Unscrew the grille in an anticlockwise direction.
• Remove any dirt that is present.
• If necessary, a ne brush can be used.
• Turn the grille tight in a clockwise direction.
