For a description of equipment not contained in this Supplementary Owner's Manual, please refer to the Owner's Manual of the BMW X5 / BMW X6 or possibly to other brochures included with the onboard literature.
We have made every effort to ensure that you are able to find what you need in this Supple­mentary Owner's Manual as quickly as possi­ble. The concept
Indicator lamps without text messages
The following indicator lamps indicate that cer­tain functions are activated:
MDrive 16
The indicator and warning lamps can light up in different combinations and colors.
Some lamps are tested for proper function by briefly lighting up during starting of the engine or when the ignition is switched on.
Explanatory text messages
Text messages at the upper edge of the Control Display explain the meaning of the displayed indicator and warning lamps.
