The multi-media connection:

Blaupunkt invented SimplyConnect,

a system that enables you to hook up the new car stereo and navigation systems and the amplifiers with other electronic devices – like MP3/WMA players, USB sticks/flash players or port-

able hard disks that contain sound files. And as easy as the connection using a USB cable or the Aux input jack is, it’s just as convenient to browse through such information as MP3 lists on the display. A hands-free operation system is also part of the package: many of the Blaupunkt radios are now equipped with

a wireless Bluetooth connection for your cell phone. And we certainly hope that all these exciting new features won’t

TravelPilot Lucca 5.2

Mobility has made the world smaller. In the same way, the portable navigation devices from Blaupunkt have shrunken in size but in contrast, they have also grown significantly in performance. The new portable Entertainment Navigation Lucca 5.2 shows you the best way to get where you’re going in 41 countries in Europe. A precise, convenient navigation function has been combined with entertainment, all in a very elegant design. Listen to your favorite music (MP3/WMA) while you navigate. And the fun doesn’t stop there. Use the Picture-Viewer to look at your holiday photos or transform your Lucca 5.2 into a drive-in theater. Use the video function to play your video films or connect your video player via the Connect Cradle. In addition, the Connect Cradle also lets you connect a back-up camera, a gaming console or a DVB-T tuner. So you can see, the TravelPilot Lucca 5.2 really is more than just a portable navigation system.

To make operation particularly easy and convenient, use the touch screen to access a maximum of 3 menu levels or move the sensitive slider to activate the function you need. Thieves, on the other hand, have a real problem on their hands. A 4-digit PIN code doesn’t give crooks much of a chance. And to make sure that you never get bogged down in traffic along the way, the device uses the integrated Traffic Message Channel (TMC) to immediately include traffic messages and warnings of congestion in route calculation. Smart Cables

If you want to pump up the volume, the Smart Cable with an ISO plug connects the TravelPilot Lucca 5.2 with a Blaupunkt car radio (aftermarket models). The Smart Cable with free cable ends (i. e. without the plug, see illustration) connects other makes or OEM models with the corresponding connection options (Aux input, telephone mute and telephone line-in). Then you can hear the navigation voice as well as the MP3 files stored on the Travel Pilot Lucca 5.2 over the vehicle speakers.

Charged to the hilt: If you want to recharge the TravelPilot Lucca’s batteries at home, just plug it in and the recharging cable will supply it with all the power you’ll need.

GPS antenna

For signals from outer space: The GPS antenna increases the reception performance of the TravelPilot Lucca (available for the TravelPilot Lucca, TravelPilot Lucca MP3 and TravelPilot Lucca 5.2) in cars with tinted windows. The antenna can be easily mounted on the inside or out – it’s glued.

RC 09, RC 10H remote control unit

The remote controls for the TravelPilot Lucca, TravelPilot Lucca MP3 and TravelPilot Lucca 5.2 navigation systems support the navigation and radio functions of your Blaupunkt car radio (aftermarket radio) and – thanks to excellent ergonomics – prevent any distraction, even when it gets dark.

All the components work in perfect harmony: The digital TwinCeiver equipped with two receivers delivers brilliant radio reception while the self-adjusting equalizer (DSAmax) provides for richly detailed, differentiated and harmonious sound.
