Intended Use
This appliance is intended for use in frothing milk, sauces, shakes and
other liquid foods.
This appliance is intended only for domestic use. It is not designed for
commercial or industrial applications.
Safety instructions
Warning about appliance damage!
• Never submerse the handle in water or other fluids.
• Never attempt to process solid foodstuffs with the appliance.
• Do not start the appliance when it is stood in its stand.
Risk of personal injury!
• This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children)
with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or deficiences in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction
in how the appliance is to be used.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.

Information regarding the handling of batteries
• Battery acid may leak, particularly from older batteries. In the event of
the batteries leaking acids, put on a pair of protective gloves. Clean
the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
• Remove the batteries if you do not intend to use the device for a
longer period.
• Always use batteries of the same type.
• Always exchange both batteries at the same time.

Before using the appliance for the first time, check to ensure that it is
complete and there are no signs of visible damage.

Preparation
• Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
Note:
Please take note of the directions regarding interaction with the batteries, as
detailed in the section "Safety Instructions"!
• Open the battery compartment by pressing the battery compartment
cover 2 to the front.
• Insert the batteries as per the polarity diagramme in the battery
compartment.
• Close the battery compartment 2 by sliding the cover onto the
appliance from the front. Ensure that the supports on the battery
compartment cover 2 engage in the runners on the appliance. The
battery compartment cover 2 then sits firmly on the appliance.
Note:
Proceed in exactly the same way when you need to change the batteries.

Utilisation
• Fill a tall receptacle up to approx. 1/3 with the fluid to be frothed.
Note:
Milk may not exceed a temperature of 60˚C. Otherwise, it does not
allow itself to be frothed.
• Hold the milk frother to just before the bottom of the receptacle.
• Press the On/Off button 1. The whisk 4 starts to turn. Guide it in
slow circular movements.
• Press the On/Off button 1 once more to stop the whisk 4.
• Lift the milk frother out of the receptacle.
• Place it in the stand 5. Any liquids remaining on the whisk 4 drop
into the drip tray 6.
Cleaning and care
Warning!
• Before cleaning it, remove the batteries from the appliance. This
prevents an unintentional starting of the appliance.
Warning about appliance damage!
• Do NOT use any chemical, abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents.
These will damage the surface of the appliance.

NEVER submerse the hand element 3 in water or other liquids. The
appliance could also be irreparably damaged!
Appliance
When possible, clean the milk frother after every use:
• For cleaning, pull the whisk 4 from the hand element 3.
• Clean the hand element with a moist cloth. For stubborn soiling use a
mild detergent on the cloth.
• Clean the whisk 4 in a mild soapy solution. Rinse it off with clear
water.
Stand
When cleaning it, take the stand 5 apart. Loosen the drip tray 6 from
the stand 5.
Soak them both in a soapy solution. Rinse them off with clear water.
Storage
• If you use the milk frother frequently, keep it in its stand 5 for storage.
• Take the batteries out of the battery compartment if you are not intending to use the milk frother for an extended period of time. Store the
milk frother at a clean and dry location.

Disposal
Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic
waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European
Directive 2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your
community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In
case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
Disposal of batteries
Used batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of in household waste. Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries at a
collection site of his community/city district or at a retail store.
The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that batteries are disposed of in
a non-polluting manner. Only dispose of batteries when they are fully
discharged.
Dispose of the packaging materials in an environmentally
responsible manner.
