Before the First Use
Assembling the adjustable feet
To assemble the adjustable feet 9 it is best to lay the cooler cabinet on its side.
Note: One of the adjustable feet 9 is somewhat shorter than the other three. This adjustable foot must be screwed into the threaded hole located to the front right of the hinge retainer.
• Screw the adjustable feet 9 into the designated
threaded holes at the corners on the underside of the appliance.
Important!
NEVER operate the appliance without the spacer w! The ventilation slits could become covered. This would lead to overheating and cause irreparable damage to the appliance.
• Screw the spacer w onto the rear of the cooler cabinet, as shown on the fold-out side.
Placement of the bottle grill
• Slide the bottle grill 0 into the guide rails. Ensure that the recesses for the bottles point downwards.
Note:
• Slide the bottle grills 0 along the guide rails until
they engage. If the bottle grills 0 do not engage, they have been inserted the wrong way round.
• You can also stand the bottles upright in the wine
cooler cabinet. To do this, remove the bottle grills 0.
Placement
Important!
When the appliance is in use, ensure that the ventilation slits and the ventilator q cannot be covered. Risk of overheating! Maintain a clear distance of approx. 15 cm between the ventilation slits and other objects.
Place the wine cooler cabinet on to a clean and level surface.
Should the wine cooler cabinet sway a little, the unevenness of the footprint can be levelled by calibration of the adjustment feet 9. For this, turn the appropriate adjustment foot 9 until the wine cooler cabinet is standing firmly.

Operation
Temperature control of wine
With this wine cooler cabinet you can tune it to operate at temperatures between 4°C and 22°C.
Tips:
• Subject to the ambient temperature, the appliance effects a maximum cooling of 15°C. The lowest attainable temperature lies by 4°C. This means that, if you want to cool beverages down to 4°C, the ambient temperature may amount to no more than 19°C.
• You should therefore place the wine cooler cabinet at the coolest possible location, one that is not warmed up by the sun.
• Do NOT place it adjacent to heat-radiating appliances such as heating elements or stoves.
• The appliance cannot effect a warm-up. If the room temperature is cooler than the adjusted temperature, the refrigeration switches itself off. The temperature then comes to a maximum of the ambient room temperature.
• To achieve a good cooling performance, lay at least three bottles in the appliance.
1. Insert the power plug 8 into a wall socket.
Ensure that the power being supplied from the wall socket tallies with the power details given on the type plate.
2. Press the button ON/OFF 5. After a brief
moment the display 1 shows the interior temperature of the wine cooler cabinet.
3. Press either the button 2 or 3 to set
the desired temperature. The display 1 blinks and shows the programmed temperature. When you stop pressing the button the blinking stops and the display 1 shows once again the current interior temperature. The wine cooler cabinet now slowly cools down to the programmed temperature.
• To switch the wine cooler cabinet off, press the button On/Off 5. The programmed tempe- rature is erased. With the next switch-on of the appliance the temperature must be once again programmed in.
Tip!
Always fill the wine cooler cabinet from the bottom to the top. This will cool the bottles faster.
Illumination
If you wish, you can switch on illumination in the interior of the wine cooler cabinet. For this, press the Light 4 button. When you wish to switch the light off, press the button Light 4 once again.
Note: Illumination contributes to a warming of the interior. Therefore, switch the lighting off if it is not needed. This also saves energy!
Important!
As the light diodes in the interior of the wine cooler cabinet have an extremely long lifespan it is not necessary, and also not possible, to exchange them. The light diodes are firmly assembled into the illumination. Under no circumstances should you open the illumination! This would irreparably damage the appliance.
