SF18 Shortening Filter
Description
Belshaw’s SF18 shortening lter effectively cleans and
recycles shortening in any fryer with capacity up to
16.25 gallons (61.5 Liters).
Standard Features
Compatible with Belshaw's 618L,718LFG, and 718LCG ▪
fryers. For other brand fryers, check capacity and
dimensions to determine compatibility.
Capacity 16.25 gallons (29.5 L), approximately ▪
equivalent to 130 lbs (59.5 liters) shortening
Long-life synthetic lter screen that needs only annual ▪
replacement under normal operating conditions.
Heavy duty pump & motor for pumping back ▪
shortening to the fryer after ltering
Heavy duty, moisture repellent foot switch for ▪
activating pump
Hand held rinse hose for rinsing debris from bottom of ▪
fryer and for relling fryer with plated steel nozzle and
heat resistant handle.

Not for use with Zero Trans Fat Shortening
Belshaw's SF-18 Shortening Filter is not designed for ▪
Zero Trans Fat shortenings (these can sometimes
cause blockages in the lter pump). Belshaw warranty
does not cover any returns, repairs or replacements
following the use of Zero Trans Fat Shortening.
Belshaw recommends using the ▪ EZMelt 18 Melter-Filter
for Zero Trans Fat shortenings. The EZMelt contains a
heating element to liquify any shortening. The EZMelt
also enables safe and easy rells of the fryer whenever
SF18 Shortening Filter,
needed.
