Cautions
– Make sure that the product is set up, pla ced and connec ted
in accordance with the in structions.
– Do not con nect any of the pro ducts in your system to the
mains , until you have con nected all the c ables.
– Follow in structio ns to ensure correct and safe in stallation
and interconnection of equipme nt in multimedia systems.
– Only con nect to a local area network (LAN) that does not
exit your fl at, house or b uilding.
– Do not attempt to open the product. Leave such oper ations
to qualified service personnel.
– No naked flames sources, such as li ghted candles should be
placed o n the apparatus.
– The prod uct can only be s witched o compl etely by
disconnecting it f rom the mains socket. The mains socket
must always be accessible..
– The supplied plug an d mains cord are spe cially design ed for
the prod uct. Do not change the plu g and if the mains co rd is
damaged, you must b uy a new one from your Bang&
Olufsen retailer.
– Do not exp ose this equip ment to dripping or splashing and
ensure that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, are
placed o n the equipment.
– Make sure the cable connection between the pro duct and the
router do es not exit the building to avoid contact with high
voltage
– Chang es or modifications not ex pressly approved by the part y
respon sible for compliance could voi d the user’s auth ority to
operate the equipment.

– Do not defeat the safet y purpose of the polarized or gro unding-
type pl ug. A polarized plug has two bla des with one wider than
the other. A grounding ty pe plug has two blades and a t hird
grounding prong. The wide blade o r the third prong are provided
for your safety. If the provi ded plug does n ot fit into your outlet,
consult an electrician for repla cement of the obsolete outlet.
– Protect the power cord from being walke d on or pinched
parti cularly at plugs, convenien ce receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus .
– Only use attachme nts/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
– Use only with the cart , stand, tripod, bracket , or table speci fied by
the manufacturer, or sold with the ap paratus. When a cart is used,
use caution when movi ng the cart/ apparatus co mbination to
avoid inju ry from tip-over.
– Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for
long periods of time.
– Refer all s ervicing to qualified ser vice personnel. Servicing is
require d when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such
as power-supply cord or pl ug is damaged, liquid has be en spilled
or objects have fall en into the apparatus, the apparatus has been
expose d to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has
been dropped.
