inapressurized,marine-gradestainlesssteelcasing.Providing360°coverageofwideareasand
greatdetailwhenzoomingin,thehighlydurable,outdoor-readycamerasareidealformarine,
mining,aswellasoilandgasenvironments.Theyarealsoapplicableindoorsinfood,medical
andcleanroommanufacturingfacilities.

Thankstothestainlesssteel(SAE316L)casing,
AXISQ60-Scamerashavehighresistancetocorrosion
andcanwithstandcleaningchemicalsandhigh-pres­suresteam.Theyaredesignedtobelledwithnitrogen
toprovidebenetssuchaspreventinginternalconden­sationandcreatinganonammableenvironment.

ThemodelscompriseAXISQ6042-S(ExtendedD1res­olutionand36xopticalzoom),AXISQ6044-S(HDTV
720pand30xopticalzoom),andAXISQ6045-S(HDTV
1080pand20xopticalzoom).Therobustcameras,with
day/nightfunctionality,canbeautomaticallydirectedto
256presetpositionsusingguardtour.

AXISQ6042-SandAXISQ6044-Ssupportelectronic
imagestabilization,whichdeliversmoreusefulvideo
inwindyorvibratingconditions.AXISQ6044-Salso
supportsautomaticdefogforclearervideoinfog.All
AXISQ60-Scamerashaveenhancedcapacityforintel­ligentvideo.

ThesuppliedmediaconverterswitchallowsAXISQ60-S
camerastobeconnectedinadaisychaintothenetwork
usingstandardnetworkorberopticcables.Themedia
converterswitchalsoenablesthecamerastoconnect
toexternaldevicesviainput/outputportsandto12V
power.

Highdurability

AXISQ60-Scameras,withmarine-grade(SAE316LorV4A)stainlesssteelandanyloncleardomecover,havehighre­sistancetothecorrosiveeffectofseawaterandcleaningchemicals.Theycanwithstandhigh-pressuresteamcleaning.
Pressurizednitrogen,meanwhile,providesbenetssuchaspreventingexternalcontaminantsfromentering,preventing
internalcondensationandinternalcorrosion,andcreatinganonammableenvironment.Thecamerascanoperatein

-30°Cto50°C(-22°Fto122°F).TheyhaveMIL-STD-810G509.5,IP6K9K,IP66,IP67andNEMA4Xapprovals,ensuring
protectionagainstsaltfog,highpressureandsteamjetcleaning,dust,rain,snowandice.Supportforshockdetection
enablesthecamerastotriggeranalarmiftheyhavebeenhit.

AXISQ60-Scamerasaretobelledwithnitrogengasthroughtheinletvalve[1]andthepressureshouldbeabove0.2bar(3psi)forfullprotectionfrominternal
condensation.Thepressurereliefvalve[2]willopenwhenthepressureinsidethecamerareaches0.5bar(7psi).

AnAXISQ60-SconnectstothesuppliedAXIST8605MediaConverter
SwitchusinganIP66-ratedmulti-connectorcable[1],whichattaches
tothecamerawithasimpleclick.Throughthemediaconverterswitch,
themulti-connectorcableenablesthecameratoreceivepower(power
supply[2]notincluded),andsendandreceivedatatoandfromexternal
alarmdevicesandthenetwork.TwoSFPslotsandtwoRJ45connectors
inthemediaconverterswitchgiveinstallerstheexibilitytonetworkthe

camerascost-effectivelyoverlongdistancesinadaisychainorinaring
topologyforincreasedreliabilityintheeventofasinglepointoffailure.
(IGMPlteringisnotsupportedandringtopologyrequiresaswitchsup­portingIEEE802.1DSpanningTreeProtocol).TheRJ45connectorscan
alsobeusedforconnectiontocomplementarycamerassuchasathermal
cameraortemporarilytoalaptoptoservicethesystemlocally.
