Thankyoufor yourpurchaseoftheModel76CDehumidifierControl.Yourcontrolallowsyou
toset the relativehumiditylevelforyourhomeandprovidescontrolofthedehumidifierfroma
convenientlivingspacelocation.TheModel76Cusesanonboardsensorto monitorthe relative
humidityinthe spacein whichit is locatedanddisplaysthe measuredrelativehumidityonthe
digitaldisplay.

TheModel76Ccanalsoactas a remoteeentrelfor yourdehumidifierif it is locatedinan
inconvenientorhardto accessarea.Forexample,whenthedehumidifierislocatedinand
dehumidifyingacrawl spaceora basement,the Model76Ccanbe installedwhereyouspend
mostof yourtime, allowingyoutomakechangesto thesettingandto seewhat thehumidityis
in theseareaswithouthavingtoaccessthedehumidifier.

Thecontrolwill allowyouto setthe desiredhumiditylevelin yourhomeandcanbeusedto
turndehumidificationOnorOff.

Thematerialsina homeactlikea sponge,sothe moistureinthe materialsofyourhomeisat
thesamelevelasthe air.After dryingtheair,thematerialsofthe homewifl releasemoisture
backintothe air untiltheyareagainat thesamelevel.As a result,it isnot uncommonforthe
dehumidifierto operatefor anextendedperiodof time whenfirst installed.

BeginbypressingtheONbuttonandONwill be displayedonthe LCDScreen(seeLCDdisplay
in Figure1).Usethearrow buttonsto setthecontrolat 59%whenfirst installed.Allowthe
dehumidifierto runfor 24hoursbeforedecidingif youwant tochangethehumiditysetting.

timethat thedehumidifierruns.
