ATTENTION AWAY FROM SAFELY DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE.

Any function that requires your prolonged attention should only
be performed after coming to a complete stop. Always stop the
vehicle in a safe location before performing these functions. Failure
to do so may result in an accident.

KEEP THE VOLUME AT A LEVEL WHERE YOU CAN STILL HEAR
OUTSIDE NOISES WHILE DRIVING.

Excessive volume levels that obscure sounds such as emergency
vehicle sirens or road warning signals (train crossings, etc.) can be
dangerous and may result in an accident. LISTENING AT LOUD
VOLUME LEVELS IN A CAR MAY ALSO CAUSE HEARING DAMAGE.

DO NOT DISASSEMBLE OR ALTER.

Doing so may result in an accident, fire or electric shock.

USE THIS PRODUCT FOR MOBILE 12V APPLICATIONS.

Use for other than its designed application may result in fire,
electric shock or other injury.

USE THE CORRECT AMPERE RATING WHEN REPLACING FUSES.

Failure to do so may result in fire or electric shock.

DO NOT BLOCK VENTS OR RADIATOR PANELS.

Doing so may cause heat to build up inside and may result in fire.

MAKE THE CORRECT CONNECTIONS.

Failure to make the proper connections may result in fire or
product damage.

USE ONLY IN CARS WITH A 12 VOLT NEGATIVE GROUND.

(Check with your dealer if you are not sure.) Failure to do so may
result in fire, etc.

BEFORE WIRING, DISCONNECT THE CABLE FROM THE NEGATIVE
BATTERY TERMINAL.

Failure to do so may result in electric shock or injury due to
electrical shorts.

DO NOT ALLOW CABLES TO BECOME ENTANGLED IN
SURROUNDING OBJECTS.

Arrange wiring and cables in compliance with the manual to
prevent obstructions when driving. Cables or wiring that obstruct
or hang up on places such as the steering wheel, gear lever, brake
pedals, etc. can be extremely hazardous.

DO NOT SPLICE INTO ELECTRICAL CABLES.

Never cut away cable insulation to supply power to other
equipment. Doing so will exceed the current carrying capacity of
the wire and result in fire or electric shock.

DO NOT DAMAGE PIPE OR WIRING WHEN DRILLING HOLES.

When drilling holes in the chassis for installation, take precautions
so as not to contact, damage or obstruct pipes, fuel lines, tanks or
electrical wiring. Failure to take such precautions may result in fire.

DO NOT USE BOLTS OR NUTS IN THE BRAKE OR STEERING
SYSTEMS TO MAKE GROUND CONNECTIONS.

Bolts or nuts used for the brake or steering systems (or any other
safety-related system), or tanks should NEVER be used for
installations or ground connections. Using such parts could disable
control of the vehicle and cause fire etc.

CAUTION

HALT USE IMMEDIATELY IF A PROBLEM APPEARS.

Failure to do so may cause personal injury or damage to the
product. Return it to your authorized Alpine dealer or the nearest
Alpine Service Center for repairing.

HAVE THE WIRING AND INSTALLATION DONE BY EXPERTS.

The wiring and installation of this unit requires special technical
skill and experience. To ensure safety, always contact the dealer
where you purchased this product to have the work done.

USE SPECIFIED ACCESSORY PARTS AND INSTALL THEM
SECURELY.

Be sure to use only the specified accessory parts. Use of other than
designated parts may damage this unit internally or may not
securely install the unit in place. This may cause parts to become
loose resulting in hazards or product failure.

ARRANGE THE WIRING SO IT IS NOT CRIMPED OR PINCHED BY A
SHARP METAL EDGE.

Route the cables and wiring away from moving parts (like the seat
rails) or sharp or pointed edges. This will prevent crimping and
damage to the wiring. If wiring passes through a hole in metal, use
a rubber grommet to prevent the wire’s insulation from being cut
by the metal edge of the hole.

DO NOT INSTALL IN LOCATIONS WITH HIGH MOISTURE OR
DUST.

Avoid installing the unit in locations with high incidence of
moisture or dust. Moisture or dust that penetrates into this unit
may result in product failure.

INSTALLATION

Due to the high power output of the PDP-E800DSP
considerable heat is produced when the amplifier is in
operation. For this reason, the amplifier should be
mounted in a location which will allow for free circulation
of air, such as inside the luggage area. For alternative
installation locations, please contact your authorized
Alpine dealer.

Please refer to Fig. 1

1. Using the amplifier as a template, mark the four screw
locations.

2. Make sure there are no objects behind the surface that
may become damaged during drilling.

3. Drill the screw holes.

4. Position the PDP-E800DSP over the screw holes, and
secure with four self-tapping screws.

AUDIO CONNECTIONS

Please refer to Fig. 2

1 Battery Lead Connector

Be sure to add an External Fuse (e.g. Fuse Block, Circuit
Breaker) with the battery lead as close as possible to
the battery’s positive (+) terminal. This fuse will protect
your vehicle’s electrical system in case of a short circuit.
Appropriate fuse value requirement: 60amp fuse.

2 Speaker Output Connector

Amplifier outputs that are connected to the speakers.
The minimum impedance per channel is 2Ohms.
Please configure your system impedance using the
setup app.
Important: We highly recommend to do the general
settings in the DSP software before the first start up. An
incorrect setting may destroy your tweeters. Please
make sure the connector is inserted correctly.

Input Connector

6-channel line level input to connect signal sources
with an output level of at least 2 Volts.
Please configure high or low input using the jumpers
inside the amplifier. Default setting is “Line Level”.
The line out within this harness outputs channel 8’s
signal. A connected external amplifier must be able to
handle 2V RMS signals.

4-9 Input Channels 1 - 6

0 Remote Input

The REM is to be used to turn on/off the amp. The
remote lead should be connected to the remote output
of the head unit. Using the app you can also configure
the amplifier to automatically trigger power on
presence of an input signal.

To switch on additional amplifiers.

@ Pre Out Jack

This is an ideal output for driving a separate subwoofer
amp. This output is a copy of channel 8.

OTHER CONNECTIONS

o Status Indicators

Red: The LED indicates whether one of the six line

inputs or high level inputs is overdriven. The LED has
no function if the device uses digital input signals. If
this LED lights up, reduce the input sensivity in the PC
app until it switches off.

Green: The amp is switched ON and in normal

operation.

Yellow: The amp is connected to a computer.

p Optical Digital Input

Optical input to connect S/PDIF sources. The sampling
rate for this input must be between 12 and 192kHz. The
input signal is automatically converted to the internal
sampling rate. In order to control the volume of this
input we recommend to use the ALPINE remote app or
the wired RUX-Knob.

[ Micro USB Connection

Connect your personal Computer (Min. requirements:
Windows XP or later, 32/64bit; 1,2Ghz; 1GB RAM; 1GB
HDD, min res. 1280x800, .NET Framework min. 4.7.1) to
the PDP-E800DSP using the provided USB cable. The
required PC software to configure this amplifier can be
downloaded from the your local Alpine website.
Please note: It is not possible to connect any USB
storage device.

For future applications.

\ Remote Volume Control

This input is designed for the Alpine RUX-Knob which
allows you to adjust the main volume or subwoofer
volume. The functionality has to be defined in the
„Amp Settings“ within the PC app.

a USB Port for Wireless Module

Connect the wireless module using the supplied USB
cable. The wireless module will enable the wireless
connection of a PC or smart phone using the respective
apps. It can also be used for the remote app or
streaming audio content.

Sicherheit sollten Sie Verkabelung und Einbau dem Händler
überlassen, bei dem Sie das Gerät erworben haben.

NUR DAS VORGESCHRIEBENE ZUBEHÖR VERWENDEN UND
DIESES SICHER EINBAUEN.

Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das vorgeschriebene Zubehör.
Andernfalls wird das Gerät möglicherweise beschädigt, oder es
lässt sich nicht sicher einbauen. Wenn sich Teile lösen, stellen

Bauen Sie das Gerät so ein, dass es vor hoher Feuchtigkeit und

EINBAU

Aufgrund der hohen Ausgangsleistung des PDP-E800DSP
wird beim Betreiben des Verstärkers eine beträchtliche
Wärme produziert. Aus diesem Grunde sollte der Verstärker
so installiert werden, dass eine freie Belüftung und ein
ungehinderter Wärmeabzug gewährleistet ist, wie z. B. im
Kofferraum. Ihr autorisierter Alpine-Händler nennt Ihnen gern
weitere Alternativen zum Einbauort.

1. Benutzen Sie den Verstärker als Schablone; markieren
Sie die vier Schraubenpositionen.

2. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich hinter der Oberfläche
keine Gegenstände befinden, die durch das Bohren
beschädigt werden könnten.

3. Bohren Sie die Schraubenlöcher.

4. Positionieren Sie den PDP-E800DSP über den
Schraubenlöchern und sichern Sie das Gerät mit vier
Blechschrauben.

AUDIOANSCHLÜSSE

Siehe Abb. 2

1 Batteriekabelstecker

Bringen Sie eine externe Sicherung (z. B.
Sicherungsblock, Leistungsschutzschalter) mit dem
Batteriekabel so nah wie möglich am Pluspol (+) der
Batterie an. Diese Sicherung schützt das elektrische
System Ihres Fahrzeugs im Falle eines Kurzschlusses.
Sicherungsanforderung: 60 Ampere.

2 Lautsprecherausgang-Stecker

Verstärkerausgänge, die an die Lautsprecher
angeschlossen sind. Die minimale Impedanz pro Kanal
beträgt 2 Ohm. Bitte konfigurieren Sie Ihre
Systemimpedanz mit der Einrichtungsanwendung.
Wichtig: Wir empfehlen dringend, vor dem ersten Start
die allgemeinen Einstellungen in der DSP-Software
vorzunehmen. Eine falsche Einstellung kann Ihre
Kalottenhochtöner beschädigen. Bitte stellen Sie sicher,
dass der Stecker richtig eingesteckt ist.

3 Eingangsstecker

6-Kanal-Linepegel-Eingang zum Anschluss von
Signalquellen mit einem Ausgangspegel von
mindestens 2 Volt.
Konfigurieren Sie den High- oder Low-Eingang über die
Jumper im Verstärker. Die Standardeinstellung ist
„Linepegel“.
Der Line-Out-Ausgang innerhalb dieses Kabelbaums
gibt das Signal von Kanal 8 aus. Ein angeschlossener
externer Verstärker muss 2-V-RMS-Signale verarbeiten
können.

4-9 Eingangskanäle 1–6

0 Remote-Eingang

Mit dem REM wird der Verstärker ein- und
ausgeschaltet. Das Remote-Kabel sollte mit dem
Remote-Ausgang der Haupteinheit verbunden sein.
Mit der Anwendung können Sie den Verstärker auch so
konfigurieren, dass er bei Vorhandensein eines
Eingangssignals die Stromversorgung automatisch
auslöst.

Zum Einschalten zusätzlicher Verstärker.

Dies ist ein idealer Ausgang für einen separaten
Subwoofer-Verstärker. Dieser Ausgang ist eine Kopie
von Kanal 8.

SONSTIGE ANSCHLÜSSE

Rot: Die LED zeigt an, ob einer der sechs Line-Eingänge

oder High-Level-Eingänge übersteuert ist. Die LED hat
keine Funktion, wenn das Gerät digitale
Eingangssignale verwendet. Wenn diese LED
aufleuchtet: Reduzieren Sie die Eingangsempfind­lichkeit in der PC-Anwendung, bis die LED erlischt.

Grün: Der Verstärker ist eingeschaltet und im

Normalbetrieb.

Gelb: Der Verstärker ist an einen Computer

angeschlossen.

p Optischer digitaler Eingang

Optischer Eingang zum Anschluss von S/PDIF-Quellen.
Die Abtastrate für diesen Eingang muss zwischen 12 und

INSTALLATION

En raison de la sortie haute puissance du PDP-E800DSP,
une forte chaleur est générée pendant le fonctionnement
de l’amplificateur. Pour cette raison, l’amplificateur doit
être monté dans un endroit permettant une bonne
ventilation, tel que le coffre. Pour ce qui concerne les
différentes positions d’installation, contacter un
concessionnaire Alpine.

1. Apposer l’amplificateur contre la surface d’installation
pour marquer les repères des quatre vis.

2. Vérifier qu’il n’y a pas d’objets derrière la surface
pouvant être abîmés lors du perçage des trous.

3. Percer les trous pour les vis.

4. Positionnez le PDP-E800DSP sur les trous de vis et fixez
avec les quatre vis autotaraudeuses.

CONNEXIONS AUDIO

1 Connecteur du fil de batterie

Veillez à ajouter un fusible externe (ex. bloc-fusibles,
coupe-circuit) avec le fil de batterie aussi près que
possible de la borne positive (+) de la batterie. Ce
fusible protège le système électrique de votre véhicule
en cas de court-circuit. Valeur de fusible exigée: 60A.

2 Connecteur de sortie haut-parleurs

Les sorties d’amplificateur sont connectées aux
haut-parleurs. L’impédance minimale par canal est de
2ohms. Veuillez configurer votre impédance système
en utilisant l’application d’installation.
Important: nous vous recommandons fortement
d’effectuer les réglages généraux dans le logiciel DSP
avant le premier démarrage. Un paramétrage incorrect
peut détruire vos tweeters. Vérifiez que le connecteur
est bien branché.

3 Connecteur d’entrée

Entrée au niveau ligne 6canaux pour connecter les
sources de signaux avec un niveau de sortie d’au moins
2V.
Veuillez configurer une entrée haute ou basse àl’aide
de cavaliers à l’intérieur de l’amplificateur. Leparamètre
par défaut est le niveau ligne.
La sortie de ligne à l’intérieur de ce faisceau émet un
signal 8canaux. Un amplificateur externe connecté
doit pouvoir gérer les signaux RMS 2V.

La télécommande doit être utilisée pour
allumer/éteindre l’ampli. Le fil de télécommande doit
être branché à la sortie télécommande l’unité
principale. En utilisant l’appli, vous pouvez aussi
configurer l’amplificateur pour automatiquement
déclencher la mise sous tension en présence d’un
signal d’entrée.

Rouge: le voyant indique si l’une des six entrées de

ligne ou si des entrées de niveau haut sont dépassées.
Le voyant est hors fonction si l’appareil utilise des
signaux d’entrées numériques. Si ce voyant s’allume,
réduisez la sensibilité d’entrée dans l’application PC
jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit coupée.

Vert: l’ampli est allumé et fonctionne normalement.

Jaune: l’ampli est connecté à un ordinateur.

p Entrée numérique optique

Entrée optique pour connecter des sources S/PDIF. Le
taux d’échantillonnage pour cette entrée doit être
entre 12 et 192kHz. Le signal d’entrée est
automatiquement converti au taux d’échantillonnage
interne. Pour contrôler le volume de cette entrée, nous
recommandons l’application de télécommande ALPINE
ou le bouton RUX câblé.

[ Connexion micro USB

Connectez votre ordinateur personnel (configuration
minimale: Windows XP ou ultérieur, 32/64bits;
1,2Ghz; RAM 1Go; HDD 1Go, rés. min. 1280x800, .NET
Framework min. 4.7.1) au PDP-E800DSP avec le câble
USB fourni. Le logiciel requis pour configurer cet
amplificateur peut être téléchargé sur le site Internet

INSTALACIÓN

Debido a la salida de alta potencia del PDP-E800DSP, se
produce un calor considerable cuando el amplificador está
en funcionamiento. Por esta razón, el amplificador deberá
montarse en una ubicación que permita la libre circulación
de aire, como por ejemplo dentro del maletero. Para
ubicaciones de instalación alternativas, por favor contacte
a su distribuidor de Alpine autorizado.

1. Utilizando el amplificador como plantilla, marque la
ubicación de los cuatro tornillos.

batería. Dicho fusible protegerá el sistema eléctrico del
vehículo en caso de cortocircuito. Valor de fusible
adecuado requerido: fusible de 60amperios.

2 Conector de salida de altavoces

Salidas del amplificador que están conectadas a los
altavoces. La impedancia mínima por canal es de
2ohmios. Configure la impedancia del sistema
utilizando la aplicación de configuración.
Importante: recomendamos encarecidamente llevar a
cabo la configuración general en el software de DSP
antes de encender el dispositivo por primera vez. Si la
configuración es incorrecta, pueden estropearse
permanentemente los tweeters. Asegúrese de que el
conector esté insertado correctamente.

3 Conector de entrada

Entrada de nivel de línea de 6canales para conectar
fuentes de señal con un nivel de salida mínimo de
2voltios.
Configure la entrada alta o baja utilizando los puentes
situados dentro del amplificador. La configuración
predeterminada es “Line Level” (Nivel de línea).
La salida de línea incluida en este arnés emite la señal
del canal8. El amplificador externo que se conecte
debe admitir señales de 2V RMS.

0 Entrada de control remoto

La REM sirve para encender/apagar el amplificador. El
cable de control remoto debe conectarse a la salida de
control remoto de la unidad principal. Mediante la
aplicación, también puede configurar el amplificador
de modo que se encienda automáticamente cuando
haya una señal de entrada.

Rojo: el LED indica si una de las seis entradas de línea o

entradas de nivel alto está sobrecargada. Este LED no
tiene ninguna función si el dispositivo emplea señales
de entrada digitales. Si este LED se ilumina, reduzca la
sensibilidad de entrada en la aplicación del PC hasta
que se apague.

Verde: el amplificador está encendido y funciona con

normalidad.

Amarillo: el amplificador está conectado a un

ordenador.

p Entrada digital óptica

Entrada óptica para conectar fuentes S/PDIF. La
velocidad de muestreo de esta entrada debe estar
entre 12 y 192kHz. La señal de entrada se convierte
automáticamente a la velocidad de muestreo interna.
Para controlar el volumen de esta entrada,
recomendamos usar la aplicación de control remoto de
ALPINE o el RUX-Knob con cable.

[ Conexión Micro-USB

Conecte su ordenador (requisitos mínimos: WindowsXP
o posterior, 32/64bits; 1,2GHz; 1GB RAM; 1GB HDD; res.
mín. 1280×800, .NET Framework mín. 4.7.1) a
PDP-E800DSP utilizando el cable USB suministrado. El
software de PC necesario para configurar este
amplificador se puede descargar del sitio web de Alpine
correspondiente a su región.
Nota: no se pueden conectar dispositivos de
almacenamiento USB.

Esta entrada está diseñada para el RUX-Knob de Alpine,

a Puerto USB para módulo inalámbrico

Conecte el módulo inalámbrico utilizando el cable USB

aplicación de control remoto o para transmitir
contenidos de audio por streaming.
