Overview
The AT-PWR3201 Power Supply is designed to be installed
in an AT-RPS3204 Redundant Power Supply (RPS). The
RPS can supply power to an AT-9400 Series switch if the
switch’s main power supply fails.

following procedure:
1. Remove the AT-PWR3201 power supply from its
shipping package and store the package in a safe
place. You must use the original package if you need to
return the power supply to Allied Telesyn.

Installing the Power Supply
To install an AT-PWR3201 Power Supply, perform the

to install the power supply and verify that the On/Off
button is in the Off (out) position. From left to right on
the back, the power supplies are identified as B2, B1,
A2, A1. (An AT-RPS3204 is shipped with one
AT-PWR3201 in the slot marked A1.)
3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the cover
from the slot in the front of the AT-RPS3204 where you
want to install the power supply.
Note
As an example, the following steps show an
AT-PWR3201 being installed in slot A2.

Keep the slot cover in a safe area in case you remove
a power supply. The slot cover helps maintain proper
air flow through the RPS.
