Installation of the GPS/CAN Simulator Software
1. Install the USB-CAN driver
a. Load CD into the computer and this window will appear. Chose run index:
Note: USB-CAN driver versions 5.01 or 5.03 are the most recent versions Ag Leader supports
b. This window will load; click the applicable driver install version for your computer

c. This download warning dialogue will appear choose keep
d. After the download is complete, double-click on the .exe file
e. Allow the program to run, click yes
f. If you have a previous version of the USB-CAN driver, it may need to be uninstalled. Click
yes

g. Navigate through the various driver uninstallation confirmation pages
h. Read and review the install options on the several following prompts starting at this page.
Click next
i. At this page of the setup wizard, press install

k. Lastly, restart the computer by clicking finish

2. Installing the CAN simulator
a. Download from: https://dealer.agleader.com/kbp/>Product Support Info>Simulator
Resources>CAN Simulator Software
Note: must be logged into the dealer site to view the Simulator Resources folder.
b. After the download is complete double click to launch
c. Acknowledge the security warning, click run
d. Allow the program to install on the computer, press yes

e. CAN Setup Wizard introduction. Read and review the install options on the several
following prompts starting at this page. Click next
f. Verify settings. Press install

CAN Simulator for Windows XP Computers
2a. Select the v.x.xx.x XP only file from the knowledgebase download page:
2b. The file will download to the computer, click this download icon

2c. This folder will open, drag the CANSimulator application to the desktop
2d. The icon will appear on the desktop like this:
2e. Click on the desktop icon to open the folder. Select the CANsimulator application and
double click to run it.
