WA6202/WA6202M Dural-Band Enter­prise Outdoor Bridge Access Point
Safeguarding
The Accton WA6202/WA6202M supports up-to­date WLAN security with 64/128 and 152-bit WEP encryption. WPA (Wi-Fi protected Access) TKIP and AES are also available for Acess Point functions for enhanced, interoperable, forward-compatible Wi-Fi security. Includes MAC address authentication. The Static AES encryption function is supported for outdoor bridge packet transmission.

Intelligent
The Accton WA6202/WA6202M supports Simple Network Management Protocol SNMP is available with a future fi rmware upgrade. Power over Ethernet is supported with stuffi ng option PoE circuit. 802.1x port-based authentication protocol support with Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) MD5, Transport Layer Security (TLS), Protected EAP (PEAP) and Tunneled TLS (TTLS) for AP function. For the bridge function, a mutual authentication between any two bridge APs are supported through EAP MD5 protocol.

he Accton WA6202/WA6202M, 802.11a+b/g dual band wireless outdoor bridge AP, provides a band for wireless connection to support point to point building-to-building bridge function
while simultaneously using another band to support wireless connection for outdoor user access.
The bridge function of Accton WA6202/WA6202M provides a 802.11a or 802.11b/g wireless con­nection to support data rate up to 108 Mbps that is best suited for enterprises, campus or off-site locations that require LAN or Internet access without the availability of wired networks to extend the network coverage. The WA6202/WA6202M provides point to point and point to multi-point connection. For point to multi-point connection, WA6202 needs to have WA6202M as a base station.
The AP functions of Accton WA6202/WA6202M also support 802.11b/g wireless connection for outdoors user. The wireless bridge/AP solution contains a state of the art wireless Bridge/AP, high gain performance 17dBi fl at panel antenna for 802.11a or 802.11b/g backbone connection and a 10dBi omni-directional antenna for outdoor wireless user connection. For further protec­tion, the bridge/AP and Power over Ethernet adapter have build in lightning protector.
