ES3526VA-PoE Layer 2 Fast
Enhance Performance
ES3526VA-PoE multilayer switch provides high switch and
routing bandwidth within/between workgroups, subnets or VLAN,
allowing faster access to networked resource. Moreover, by pro-
viding the Gigabit copper and SFP connecting interfaces, allows
the users to leverage existing network media and flexibility to
increase drastically the network speed to relief the bottleneck at
the core of the network caused by the proliferation of bandwidth-
hungry application without much extra cost spent.
Comprehensive Traffic Control/Management
The Accton ES3526VA-PoE’s ability to classify traffic at the
network edge allows networks administrators to set rules based
on traffic types, which ensures that applications with special
bandwidth requirements get the bandwidth they need, when they
need it. Eight level of prioritization are provided for the traffic
QoS. The IEEE 802.1D Spanning Tree Protocol prevents loops in
the network topology. The use of QoS and hardware-based rout-
ing helps decrease network latency and jitter. Not only the basic
QoS function, but also TOS and DiffServ (Differentiate Service)
are provided to strengthen the high-level requirements of traffic
management. Moreover, ES3526VA-POE also provides the Rate
Limiting to help network administers to better allocate bandwidth
usage.
Flexible System Management
The system can be managed and monitored via SNMP/RMON
protocol through computer using network management software
or via an Internet web browser. This easy-to-use application
expands the pool of administers capable of performing complex
network configurations. Network managers can import, export, or
modify individual port settings, VLAN configurations and SNMP
traps. Comprehensive LED indicators are located on the front
panel to assist network administers in troubleshooting. Port
Mirroring feature provides a non-intrusive mechanism for traffic
inspection across the whole switch. With the help of Accton
powerful management features the status of the switch system
can be obtained at a glance.
Advanced Stacking Architecture
Accton’s advanced closed loop stacking architecture allows you
to connect up to 8 ES3526VA-PoE Switch into a single manage-
able unit of up to 192 ports plus 2 Gigabit ports. The closed loop
stacking architecture is designed to protect your network invest-
ment with resilient links. As one of stacked units crashes, the
other units in the same stack can still keep running. Furthermore,
using the Gigabit RJ-45 connectors provide easy connections
to other switches in the stack and save money by not requiring
additional stacking module and the stacking bandwidth is up to 2
Gbps (1Gbps up and 1Gbps down)
State-of-Art Power over Ethernet Features
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is the ability for the LAN switching
infrastructure to provide power over a copper Ethernet cable
to an end-point (Powered Device). This capability promises to
create a new world of networked appliances by providing power
as well as data connectivity over existing Ethernet cables. Accton
offers a comprehensive range of 802.3af compliant (2003) Power
over Ethernet support across its Intelligent Switching portfolio
with both 10/100/1000 and 10/100 PoE LAN connections, also
support Cisco pre-standard existing end devices.
Ethernet PoE Stackable Switch
S3526VA-PoE is a Layer-2 intelligent stackable switch with 24 10/100BASE-T/TX ports (RJ-45 connec-
E
tors) and 2 Gigabit combo ports with RJ-45 connectors and associated SFP slots on the front panel.
The ES3526VA-PoE supports auto MDI/MDIX on all 10/100Base-TX ports, up to 8K MAC address entries and
32MB for packet buffer size.
ES3526VA-PoE Layer-2 intelligent switch is an application-based fixed port desktop Ethernet switch that delivers not only
the comprehensive Layer-2 functions, but also the updated Power over Ethernet functionality which complies the IEEE
802.3af standard and supports Cisco pre-standard PoE end-devices.
