The ACS880-01 wall-mounted single
drive with extension box is part of
ABB’s new all-compatible drives
portfolio. The drives are compatible
with virtually all types of AC motors,
automation systems, users and
business requirements.
The ACS880-01 Extension Box (+C212) takes the
ACS880- 01 base drive and combines it with a simple
package to make installation even easier, giving you
optimized energy efficiency, maximized output and
simplified operation.
Simplifying your world without limiting your
possibilities
The ACS880 Extension Box is an ACS880 -01
wall-mounted drive on a backpanel with an electrical
box for additional devices. Within the box are line
fuses to protect the drive. Optional devices include a
local disconnect switch and control power
transformer. The extension box will save cost and
simplify installation because it has the input fusing
and local disconnect switch that are typically required
as part of the installation. It can optionally provide
120V source and digital signal interface including
drive start/stop. It is used in a variety of industries
include oil and gas, chemical, mining, material
handling, pulp and paper, saw mills and cement.
Applications include extruders, winders, conveyors,
mixers, compressors, pumps and fans. The ACS880
Extension Box is available up to 150 HP in a wallmountable package for indoor locations in industrial
environments.
