Robust Security Protection

The ICSA-compliant ZyNOS operating system ensures state-of-the-art firewall performance and robust security features. Including Stateful Packet Inspection, Denial of Service (DoS) and Distributed DoS (DDoS) features, the P-660HWP Series provides the first line of defense against hackers, network intruders and other harmful threats. The Powerline transmission is also protected by 128-bit AES encryption to secure Internet access and network resource sharing.

Advanced Media Bandwidth Management (MBM) QoS

With ZyXEL MBM (Media Bandwidth Management), users can now tell the P-660HWP Series to decide which services get more bandwidth. Finetuning bandwidth allocation eliminates lag caused by impaired bandwidth utilization; performance and service quality of bandwidth-sensitive applications like VoIP, gaming, or P2P will enjoy a significant boost in speed.

The HomePlug AV standard is 200 Mbps data rate via power line, actual performance may vary depends on real environment.
