Model 4117 Wireless USB Client
The ZoomAir Wireless USB Client provides a fast, flexible networking connection with un­matched ease of installation and use. Simply plug the Model 4117 into a computer’s USB port, run the installation software and are ready to connect to any industry-standard 802.11b wireless network.
The USB interface provides Plug and Play installation and eliminates the need to open a computer case. The small size of the Model 4117 makes it suitable for use with either a desktop or portable computer. And the USB client is powered from the USB port of the PC, which eliminates the clutter of an AC adapter or the need to carry a bulky adapter.
The Model 4117 provides the highest level of security specified by the 802.11b wireless standard, with up to 128 bit Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP).
The ZoomAir USB client comes with SmartConnect software, which delivers on the promise of easy wireless mobility by simplfying the configuration process normally required when a network user tries to connect to a wireless LAN away from home.
