SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

1. Dieses Gerät ist nur für den Betrieb an einem Bordnetz mit +12V (DC) und Minus gegen Masse geeignet.

2. Montieren und bedienen Sie das Gerät nur so, wie es in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben wird. Alles andere kann zum Erlöschen Ihres Garantieanspruches führen.

3. Zerlegen oder modizieren Sie das Gerät nicht. Dies kann zu einer Beschädigung des Gerätes führen und Ihr Garantieanspruch erlischt dadurch. Versuchen Sie auch nicht das Gerät selbst zu reparieren oder zu warten, sondern wenden Sie sich an einen autorisierten ZENEC-Fachhändler.

4. Benutzen Sie nur das Originalzubehör, um das Gerät zu installieren und zu betreiben, da ansonsten eine Beschädigung des Gerätes riskiert wird. Befestigen Sie das Gerät gemäß der Installationsanleitung, unter Verwendung des mitgelieferten Montagezubehörs. Die bei Unfällen auftretenden Beschleunigungskräfte sind teilweise enorm. Unsachgemäß montierte Geräte stellen bei Unfällen ein großes Risiko für den Fahrer und die Insassen des Fahrzeuges dar.

5. Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten, die in das Innere des Gerätes eindringen können. Ein Kurzschluss mit Brandfolge könnte daraus resultieren.

6. Bevor Sie eine defekte Sicherung austauschen, sollten Sie erst überprüfen was der Grund für den Kurzschluss war. Achten Sie dabei besonders auf die Kabel der Spannungsversorgung! Wenn der Kurzschluss nicht durch einen Fehler in der Spannungsversorgung verursacht wurde, müssen Sie die defekte Sicherung gegen ein neues Exemplar mit identischen Werten austauschen. Sollte der Kurzschluss immer noch vorhanden sein, wenden Sie sich bitte an einen autorisierten ZENEC-Fachhändler.

7. Achten Sie darauf, dass bei ausgeschaltetem Motor die Batterie des Fahrzeuges nicht entladen wird. Da es sich bei dem Gerät um einen Verbraucher handelt und die Batterie nur bei laufendem Motor aufgeladen wird, kann es passieren, dass die Batterie tief entladen wird und das Fahrzeug sich nicht mehr starten lässt.

8. Gemäß den in den verschiedenen Ländern der EU geltenden Verkehrsvorschriften, darf ein Monitor, der in Sichtweite des Fahrers montiert ist, während der Fahrt, ausser zu Navigationszwecken, nicht betrieben werden, da er den Fahrer vom Verkehrsgeschehen ablenkt. Beachten Sie unbedingt die geltenden Vorschriften in Ihrem Land, da ansonsten bei einem Unfall Regressansprüche von der Kfz Versicherung geltend gemacht werden können. Achten Sie zusätzlich darauf, dass die Lautstärke in Ihrem Fahrzeug nur so hoch ist, dass Sie Außengeräusche, wie z.B. eine Polizeisirene, noch klar wahrnehmen können.

9. Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen harten Stößen aus. Eine mechanische und elektronische Beschädigung des Gerätes könnte daraus resultieren.

um das Gerät einzuschalten.

■ Drücken und halten Sie den PWR/

VOL-Drehregler, um das Gerät auszuschalten.

■ Verwenden Sie den PWR/VOL-Dreh-

regler, um die Lautstärke zu verändern.

■ Drücken Sie den PWR/VOL-Dreh-

regler, um die Tonwiedergabe manuell zu unterdrücken und drücken Sie die Taste erneut, um zur ursprünglichen Lautstärke zurückzukehren.

■ Drücken Sie die DVD-Taste, um in den

DVD/CD-Modus zu wechseln.

6. NAV

■ Drücken Sie die NAV-Taste, um in den

Navigations-Modus zu wechseln. Der Ton des zuletzt verwendeten Wiedergabemodus bleibt bestehen.

■ Drücken Sie die NAV-Taste im Navi-

gations-Modus, um zwischen Navigation und Wiedergabemodus zu wechseln.

■ Drücken Sie den Drehregler im DVD-

Modus, um die Wiedergabe zu pausieren und drücken Sie ihn erneut, um die Wiedergabe wieder fortzusetzen.

■ Drücken und halten Sie den Drehregler,

um das Audio Control Menü aufzurufen.

Bluetooth-Modus zu gelangen.

Modus, um zwischen Bluetooth und Wiedergabemodus zu wechseln.

Video-Menü anzuzeigen.

die Helligkeit direkt einzustellen.

■ Zeigt die momentan verfügbaren Informationen einer Disk an.

■ Suchfunktion im DVD/CD-Modus. Drücken Sie die [-/--]-Taste, um eine Kategorie zu wählen. Geben Sie dann über das numerische Ziffernfeld die Zeit oder Titel/Kapitel ein.

10. STOP/BAND

■ Wählt das FM/AM Band im Radio-Modus.

■ Stoppt die Wiedergabe in den anderen

Wiedergabemodi.

11. SELECT

■ Öffnet das Equalizer-Menü.

■ Wenn verfügbar, wechselt die AUDIO-

■ Vergrössert durch mehrmaliges Drücken

den Bildausschnitt in folgenden Schritten: "+1", "+2", "+3", "OFF"

■ Wenn verfügbar, wechselt die ANGLE-

Taste die Kameraperspektive während der DVD-Wiedergabe.

■ Wenn verfügbar, wechselt die SUBT-Taste die Sprache des Untertitels während der DVD-Wiedergabe.

■ Wenn verfügbar, wechselt die ANGLETaste die Kameraperspektive während der DVD-Wiedergabe.

■ Drücken Sie die Taste, um den Startpunkt A festzulegen. Drücken Sie die Taste erneut, um den Endpunkt B der RepeatSchleife zu setzen.

GERÄT EIN- UND AUSSCHALTEN

■ Drücken Sie den PWR/VOL-Drehregler an der Gerätefront, um das Gerät manuell einzuschalten. Halten Sie den Drehregler gedrückt, um das Gerät auszuschalten.

■ Das Gerät kann auch mit der Zündung ein- und ausgeschaltet werden, wobei diese Funktion von dem Status abhängig ist, in welchem sich das Gerät vor dem Ausschalten befand.

WÄHLEN EINES WIEDERGABEMODUS

Nachdem das Gerät gestartet wurde, berühren Sie

das Feld mit dem aktuellen Wiedergabemodus in der oberen linken Ecke des Bildschirms, um in das Hauptmenü zu gelangen.

■ Sie haben vom Hauptmenü aus Zugang zu jedem

Wiedergabemodus und dem Setup-Menü.

■ Berühren Sie den Pfeil, um zwischen den beiden

Seiten des Hauptmenüs zu wechseln.

 HINWEIS:

■ Wenn Sie das entsprechende Medium nicht eingelegt oder das externe Gerät nicht angeschlossen haben, so ist das jeweilige Icon je nach Wiedergabemodus abgedunkelt.

RÜCKFAHRKAMERA

■ Der Rückfahrkamera-Modus aktiviert sich automatisch, wenn eine Kamera am entsprechenden Eingang des Gerätes angeschlossen ist, das Reverse-Kabel entsprechend der Montageanleitung verbunden wurde und der Rückwärtsgang eingelegt wird.

HINTERER WIEDERGABEBEREICH

■ Wenn Monitore im Fond installiert und am Rear Zone A/V-Ausgang des Gerätes angeschlossen sind, können die Passagiere das Gerät mit der M-Zone Fernbedienung bedienen. Für eine direkte Auswahl des Wiedergabemodus (nur DVB-T und DVD) am Gerät, berühren Sie das M-Zone Icon im Hauptmenü. DVD ist nicht verfügbar, wenn für den vorderen Wiedergabebereich SD-Karte, iPod oder USB gewählt ist. Die Laustärke der M-Zone kann nur über das externe Gerät (z.B. Kopfhörer) geändert werden.

STUMMSCHALTUNG

■ Manuell: Drücken Sie die PWR/VOL-Taste an der Gerätefront, um den Ton zu unterbrechen. Drücken Sie die Taste erneut, um zur zuvor eingestellten Lautstärke zurückzukehren.

■ Automatisch: Das Gerät wird stumm geschaltet, wenn ein Telefongespräch geführt wird.

AUDIO CONTROL MENÜ

■ Das Audio Control Menü erlaubt die Anpassung der Audiowiedergabe an die eigenen Hörgewohnheiten und die Fahrzeuggegebenheiten. Der Menüpunkt "SW" ist nur von Bedeutung, wenn ein Subwoofer am entsprechenden Vorverstärkerausgang des Gerätes angeschlossen ist.

■ Drücken und halten Sie den SMART DIAL Drehregler, um in das Audio Control Menü zu gelangen.

■ Drücken Sie auf das Feld mit dem aktuellen Wiedergabemodus in der oberen linken Ecke, um das Menü zu verlassen.

■ Nach 15 Sekunden ohne Eingabe wird das Menü automatisch geschlossen.

 HINWEIS:

■ Bass und Höhen sind nur im "User"-Modus einstellbar.

SPERRE DER VIDEOWIEDERGABE

■ Die Video-Wiedergabe auf dem Display des Gerätes ist während der Fahrt aufgrund der Verkehrssicherheit gesperrt. Für die Videowiedergabe muss die Handbremse angezogen sein und das Parking-Kabel entsprechend der Montageanleitung verbunden sein.

■ Der Rückfahrkamera-Modus und die M-Zone bleiben von dieser Sperre unberührt.

SYSTEM ZURÜCKSETZEN

■ Sollte sich der Prozessor aufhängen oder sonstige Fehlfunktionen auftreten, drücken Sie die RESET-Taste an der unteren rechten Gerätefront, um den Prozessor in den Auslieferungszustand zurückzusetzen.

■ Berühren Sie den gewünschten Menüpunkt direkt am Display, um das Untermenü zu öffnen und den eingestellten Wert zu verändern.

] und [ ] zeigen an, das Optionen auf einer weiteren Seite verfügbar

sind.

■ Berühren Sie das "SETUP"-Icon in der oberen linken Ecke, um das Setup-Menü zu verlassen.

■ Das Setup-Menü schliesst sich automatisch nach 15 Sekunden ohne Eingabe.

SICHERHEITSCODE

■ Um das Gerät vor einem Diebstahl und der darauffolgenden Verwendung zu schützen, verfügt das Gerät über die Möglichkeit einen vierstelligen Sicherheitscode einzugeben.

Wird das Gerät bei aktiviertem Sicherheitscode von der Spannungsquelle getrennt und

anschliessend wieder angeschlossen, muss der Sicherheitscode eingegeben werden, um das Gerät wieder in Betrieb zu nehmen.

Andernfalls kann das Gerät nicht mehr in Betrieb genommen werden. Im Auslieferungszustand ist die Eingabe des Sicherheitscodes deaktiviert, daher

ist es nicht nötig, den Sicherheitscode einzugeben, nachdem das Gerät von der Spannungsquelle getrennt wurde.

9. Berühren, um AF-Funktion zu de- bzw. aktivieren. Bei aktivierter AF-Funktion wählt das Gerät automatisch die am Besten zu empfangende Frequenz des gehörten Radiosenders.

10. Die Anspielfunktion des Gerätes spielt alle empfangbaren Sender des Frequenzbandes an. Wenn Sie einen passenden Sender gefunden haben, berühren Sie irgendein Icon, um die Scan-Funktion zu deaktivieren.

11. Berühren, um die TA Funktion zu de- bzw. aktivieren. Bei aktivierter TA Funktion schaltet das Gerät automatisch auf einen Radiosender um, welcher gerade eine Verkehrsdurchsage sendet. Es spielt dabei keine Rolle, welchen Wiedergabemodus Sie gerade ausgewählt haben.

12. Manuelles Suchen durch Erhöhen der Frequenz.

1. SUCHEN NACH EINEM MOBILTELEFON IN IHRER NÄHE

1. Aktivieren Sie den Bluetooth-Modus des Mobiltelefons und achten Sie darauf, dass das Ermitteln des Mobiltelefons vorher zugelassen bzw. die entsprechende Funktion aktiviert wurde.

2. Berühren Sie das Add-Icon um das Suchmenü aufzurufen und um den Suchlauf zu starten.

3. Nachdem das Mobiltelefon vom Gerät gefunden und eine Bluetooth-Verbindung aufgebaut wurde, erscheint der Name des Mobiltelefons auf dem Gerät.

4. Wählen Sie nun das Mobiltelefon auf dem Gerät aus, berühren Sie anschliessend das Connect-Icon und geben Sie den alphanumerischen Kennschlüssel ein, welcher im Auslieferungszustand 1234 lautet.

Je nach Mobiltelefon und Einstellung muss auch dort der alphanumerische Kennschlüssel

eingegeben werden.

5. Nachdem die Kopplung zwischen dem Gerät und dem Mobiltelefon abgeschlossen ist, werden Sie je nach Mobiltelefon noch einmal aufgefordert, die Kopplung zu bestätigen, um den Vorgang zu beenden.

2. SUCHEN ÜBER IHR MOBILTELEFON

1. Aktivieren Sie den Bluetooth-Modus des Mobiltelefons.

2. Wählen Sie den Bluetooth-Modus des Gerätes aus.

3. Starten Sie die Suche nach Bluetooth Geräten auf dem Mobiltelefon.

4. Nachdem das Gerät vom Mobiltelefon gefunden und eine Bluetooth-Verbindung aufgebaut wurde, erscheint das Gerät mit der Bezeichnung ZE-NC2040 auf dem Mobiltelefon.

5. Wählen Sie nun ZE-NC2040 auf dem Mobiltelefon aus und geben Sie den alphanumerischen Kennschlüssel ein, welcher im Auslieferungszustand 1234 lautet.

6. Nachdem die Kopplung zwischen dem Gerät und dem Mobiltelefon abgeschlossen ist, werden Sie je nach Mobiltelefon noch einmal aufgefordert, die Kopplung zu bestätigen, um den Vorgang zu beenden.

NAVIGATIONS-MODUS

■ Für die Bedienung der Navigation lesen Sie bitte die separate Bedienungsanleitung, welche im Lieferumfang enthalten ist.

■ Während der Navigation können Sie einen anderen Wiedergabemodus wiedergeben. In diesem Fall verringert die Navigation den Ton des aktuellen Wiedergabemodus für die Dauer der Navigationsdurchsage.

Beim Gebrauch einer Disk ist zu beachten:

1. Verwenden Sie keine Disk, deren Form nicht der Norm entspricht.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. This unit is designed to be used in a vehicle with a 12V battery and negative ground.

2. Do not operate the unit in any other way than described in this manual. Failure to follow the instructions within this manual will void your warranty.

3. Do not disassemble or alter the unit in any way, because it can cause a defect and your warranty claim will be rejected. Do not attempt to repair or to service the unit yourself, but contact an authorized ZENEC dealer instead.

4. Use only original accessories which are designed and manufactured for the unit, otherwise you will risk to damage it. Install the unit according to the mounting manual and use only the supplied mounting accessories. The forces of acceleration for accidents are sometimes huge. Incorrect mounted units are a big risk for the driver and the passengers of the car, during an accident.

5. Protect the unit from water and other liquids, which can enter the casing. A short circuit or even re could be the result.

6. Before you replace a defect fuse, try to nd the cause for the short circuit. Please pay attention to the cables of the power supply! If the short circuit doesn't result from a failure of the power supply or wiring, you can replace the defective fuse with a new one (same values). If the short-circuit is still existing, please contact an authorized ZENEC dealer.

7. Be careful not to drain the car battery while using the unit when the car engine is turned off. Because the unit uses a considerable amount of energy and the battery will be charged only while the engine is running, it's possible that the battery will discharge to a point it's not longer possible to start the engine.

8. According to the law in different European countries, driving with monitors in use in the viewing range of the driver is not allowed, because the driver might be distracted from the traffic. Please respect the traffic regulations of your country, or you might face penalties in case of an accident or even loose insurance cover. Please pay attention to the volume inside your vehicle, because you have to notice exterior sounds like a police siren.

9. Don't expose the unit to hard impacts. A mechanical or electrical damage of the unit could be the result.

bASIC OPERATION

POWER ON/OFF

■ Press the PWR/VOL rotary knob on the front panel to turn on the unit. Press and hold the rotary knob for 2 seconds to turn off the unit.

■ It's also possible to turn on and off the unit with the ignition, but this depends on the last state, before the unit was turned off.

■ After you have turned on the unit, touch the icon with the current playing mode in the upper left corner of the screen to go back to the main menu.

■ After entering the main menu, you have access to each playing mode and setting.

■ Touch the arrow to choose between the two pages of the main menu.

■ If a medium is not inserted or the external unit is not connected, the respective icon is greyed out.

REAR VIEW CAMERA

■ The rear view camera mode will be activated automatically, if a camera is connected to the camera input, the reverse wire has to be correctly connected (according to the mounting manual) and you shift to the reverse gear.

M-ZONE

■ If you have installed monitors for example to the headrests of your car and they are connected to the M-Zone A/V outputs of the unit, the passenger can operate the unit with the rear remote control. To choose a playing mode directly (only DVB-T and DVD) at the unit, touch the M-Zone icon in the main menu. The playing mode DVD is not available, if you have selected the playing mode SD card or USB for the front zone. The volume of the M-Zone components can only be altered using the with the volume adjustment of an external unit (e.g. IR headphones).

MUTE FUNCTION

■ Manually: Press the PWR/VOL rotary knob on the front panel to mute the audio output. Press the button again to deactivate the mute function.

■ Automatically: The audio output will be muted, if you make a phone call.

AUDIO CONTROL MENU

■ The audio control menu allows you to adjust your audio system to meet your requirements and the acoustical characteristics of the vehicle. The menu item "SW" is only relevant, if you have a subwoofer connected to the respective sub pre-out of the unit.

■ Press and hold the SMART DIAL rotary knob to enter the audio control menu.

■ Touch the icon with the current playing mode in the upper left corner of the screen to leave the menu.

■ After 15 seconds without any operation, the audio menu exits back to current audio source automatically.

 NOTE:

■ Bass and treble settings are only adjustable in "User"-mode.

VIDEO PLAYBACK DISABLED

■ The video playback on the display of the unit is disabled when the car is in motion due to safety reasons. It's necessary to engage the handbrake to enable the video playback and the parking wire has to be connected according to the mounting manual.

■ The rear camera mode and the M-Zone remain unaffected.

SYSTEM RESET

■ If the unit does not work correctly, you should rst try to reset the unit by pressing the RESET-button on the bottom-right corner of the front panel to reset the processor. The last adjustments will always be saved.

ANTI-THEFT CODE

■ To secure the unit from theft and later use, it’s possible to enter a four-digit anti-theft code. If the anti-theft code is activated and the unit will be disconnected from the power supply

and reconnected again, it’s necessary to enter the anti-theft code to start up the unit. Otherwise it’s not possible to restart it.

 NOTE:

■ The delivery status for the input of the anti-theft code is deactivated, so it’s not necessary

to enter the anti-theft code, when the unit was disconnected from the power supply.

1. Touch the Anti theft icon and activate the anti-theft function.

2. Touch the anti-theft code icon and use the keypad, which appears on the screen, to enter the four-digit anti-theft code and conrm your input by entering the same code a second time.

 NOTE:

■ The delivery status of the anti-theft code, with the freshly unpacked unit is deactivated and you must activate it manually.

■ Please write down the anti-theft code and keep it stored in a safe place. If the anti-theft code is falsely entered wrong three times, it’s necessary to enter the super code to unlock the unit again. To unlock the unit with the super code, it’s inevitable to send it back to an authorized ZENEC-dealer.This service is not free of charge.

THE BLUETOOTH ICON

PHONE BOOK

■ After the mobile phone is paired with the unit, the synchronisation of the phone book will start automatically. All entries will be transferred from the mobile phone to the unit. Set ”Auto Connect” at the unit and your mobile phone to ”On”.

■ Touch the [ family name. The entries with the respective initial letter get displayed directly.

PAIRING

■ You have two possibilities to pair a mobile phone with the unit. Please pay attention that

the Bluetooth mode of the unit must be activated in the setup menu.

1. Searching for nearby phones.

5. After the pairing between the unit and the mobile phone is nished, depending on the mobile phone, it's necessary to conrm the pairing once more to complete this process.

1. Activate the Bluetooth mode on the mobile phone.

2. Open the Bluetooth mode of the unit.

3. Start the search for Bluetooth units on the mobile phone.

4. After the unit is found by the mobile phone and a Bluetooth connection was established, the unit will appear with the description ZE-NC2040 on the mobile phone.

5. Choose ZE-NC2040 on the mobile phone and enter the PIN code, which is in the delivery status 1234.

6. After the pairing between the unit and the mobile phone is nished, depending on the mobile phone, it's necessary to conrm the pairing again to complete the procedure.

ENTER A VOICE TAG

■ The user can record a voice tag for 200 phone numbers, i.e. it's possible to start a phone call with a pre-recorded voice tag.

1. Choose one entry form the phone book.

2. Start to record a voice tag and follow the instructions to nish the procedure. Entries with a voice tag are indicated with a [

voice tag]-icon. After a voice tag was recorded, it's also

possible to delete this voice tag. Choose the entry and delete the voice tag.

3. Touch the [

]-icon two times and wait with the speech input until an acoustic beep signal is audible, to start a call of a phone book entry with voice tag. If the speech input was identical with the recorded voice tag, the unit starts to dial the phone number of the entry automatically.

■ The line-of-sight distance between the unit and the mobile phone must be 8 metres or less, otherwise a awless function can't be guaranteed. The transmission distance may become shorter than the estimated distance, depending on the environment during use.

■ The operation of the mobile depends on the model and brand. Please pay attention to the manual of the mobile phone.

■ Depending on the mobile phones brand and model, the speakers of the vehicle may not produce a ring sound.

■ The synchronisation, the transferring, the sorting and the display of the phone book entries depend on the mobile phone brand and model. If the synchronisation doesn't work or if it's faulty, disconnect the phone and repeat pairing with the unit.

■ It's possible to pair up to 5 mobile phones with the unit.

■ It's possible to synchronise and handle up to 1000 phone book entries.

■ Please check if the automatic synchronisation of the phone book is activated on the

■ Please read the mounting manual, which is included in the set content of the unit, to learn more about the placement, mounting and usage of the internal and external microphones.

NAVIGATION MODE

■ Please read the separate navigation software manual to learn more about the operation of the navigation system.

■ In navigation mode, it's possible to play back an audio source. In this case, the audio output of the current playing mode will be lowered during a voice response.

■ It's possible to adjust the volume of the navigation voice with the PWR/VOL rotary knob during a voice response. The adjusted volume will be saved.

■ The unit has a splitscreen mode, which is available in the following playing modes: Tuner, USB (audio), iPod (audio) and SD card (audio).

1. Once you have started a route guidance in the navigation mode you can change to an audio source that is supported by the splitscreen mode, by touching the [ activate it.

ABOUT DIVX VIDEO: DivX® is a digital video format created by DivX, Inc. This is an official DivX Certied device that plays DivX video. Visit www.divx.com for more information and software tools to convert your les into DivX video. ABOUT DIVX VIDEO-ON-DEMAND: This DivX Certied® device must be registered in order to play DivX Video-on-Demand (VOD) content. To generate the registration code, locate the DivX VOD section in the device setup menu. Go to vod.divx.com with this code to complete the registration process and learn more about DivX VOD.

BASIC KNOCKLEDGE OF DISC Region Code:

According to DVD sale region, the whole world is divided into six regions. A DVD disc can be played back only when the DVD region number is the same with the DVD disc. Region 1: USA, Canada, East Pacic Ocean Islands Region 2: Japan, West Europe, North Europe, Egypt, South Africa, Middle East Region 3: Taiwan of China, Hong Kong of China, South Korea, Indonesia, South East Asia Region 4: Australia, New Zealand, Mid & South America, South Pacic Thailand, Ocean Islands/Oceania Region 5: Russia, Mongolia, India, Middle Asia, East Europe, North Korea, North Africa, North West Asia Region 6: Chinese Mainland

Caution of disc using:

1. Do not use irregular shaped discs.

2. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the disc from center to edge. Only neutral detergent can be used.

3. New discs may have some rough spots around the inner and outer edges. If such a disc is used, remove these rough spots with a pencil or ball-point pen.

MP3 COMPATIBILITY (MAX. 1500 MEDIA FILES, MAX. 200 FOLDERS)

All the le naming format below are compatible

■ ISO 9660 – Level le name: 12 characters, le extension: 3 characters

■ ISO 9660 – Level le name: 31 characters, le extension: 3 characters

■ Joliet – 64 characters

■ ID3 tag 2.3

If the le or folder name does not conform to ISO 9660 le system, it may not be displayed correctly or be normally played back.

TROUbLESHOOTING

Problem Cause Solution GENEREL

Radio fuse blown. Install new fuse with correct rating.

Unit will not power on.

No/low audio output.

Car battery fuse blown. Install new fuse with correct rating.

Illegal operation. Press the RESET button.

Improper audio output connection. Check wiring and correct.

Volume set too low. Increase volume level.

Speakers damaged. Replace speakers.

Only one channel is playing.

Speaker wiring is in contact with metal part of car.

Mute is activated. Turn off the Mute function.

Check the balance and fader adjustments.

Insulate all speaker wiring connections or replace the speaker cable.

Poor sound quality or distortion.

TFT MONITOR

No image.

Prolonged image or improper height/ width ratio.

Unauthorized disc is in use. Use original disc.

Speaker power rating not compatible with unit.

Speaker is shorted. Check speaker connections.

The parking brake is not engaged.

The parking wire was wrong or not connected.

The "Monitor off"-function is activated.

Improper aspect ratio setup. Use correct aspect ratio setting.

Connect proper speakers.

Stop vehicle in a safe place and apply parking brake.

Please connect the parking wire correctly.

Touch the monitor to activate the display.

TUNER

Auto antenna not properly connected.

Weak station searching.

REG function is activated. Turn REG function off.

The antenna power cable is not connected.

The AF function is not activated. Activate the AF function.

DVD-PLAYER

Cannot insert disc. Disc already inside unit.

Disc is warped or scratched. Use disc in good condition.

Disc is dirty or wet. Clean disc with soft cloth.

Connect the auto antenna cable properly.

Connect the antenna power cable properly.

Eject current disc and insert new one.

Disc does not play back.

Incompatible disc is used. Use compatible disc.

Disc rating exceeds parental lock rating limit.

Disc region code is not compatible with unit.

Disc is inserted upside down. Insert disc with label side up.

Change parental lock settings to lower restriction.

Use disc with proper region code.

MP3

The ID3 tags are shown incorrectly

Message is longer than LCD can display or ID3 tag is not compatible.

Use proper ID3 tag information.
