A horizontal dash ("-") indicates that the element is turned off. For example, an Enable situation coded with "12_-" indicates that Elements 1, 2 and 3 are turned on, with Elements 1 and 2 able to be controlled by MIDI. Element 4 is turned off.

The W5/W7’s effect section is divided into Insertion Effect and System Effect sections.
1. Insertion Effect
An Insertion Effect can be designated for each voice, and its parameters can be specified in Voice Edit Mode. Up to three Insertion Effects can be used at once in a multi (i.e., up to three voices may have an Insertion Effect applied to them).
