DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURES

(分解手順)
1. Top Cover (Time required : About 1 min.)
1-1. Remove the two (2) screws marked [37A], and remove the
left handle. (Fig. 1)
1-2. Remove the two (2) screws marked [37B], and remove the
right handle. (Fig. 1)
1-3. Remove the three (3) screws marked [35]. The top cover
can then be removed. (Fig. 1)

2. MAIN Circuit Board (Time required: About 3 minutes.)

2-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 2-2. Disconnect the connector assemblies and the flexible flat
cables from the MAIN circuit board. (Fig. 1)
2-3. Remove the eight (8) screws marked [39A]. The MAIN
circuit board can then be removed. (Fig. 1)
3. Power Supply Unit (Time required : About 2 min.)
3-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 3-2. Disconnect the connector assemblies from the power
supply unit. (Fig. 1)
3-3. Remove the four (4) screws marked [39B]. The power
supply unit can then be removed. (Fig. 1)

4. FUSE Circuit Board (Time required: About 2 minutes.)
4-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 4-2. Disconnect the connector assemblies from the FUSE circuit
board. (Fig. 2)
4-3. Remove the three (3) screws marked [39C]. The FUSE
circuit board can then be removed. (Fig. 2)

5. AC Inlet Assembly (Time required : About 2 min.)

5-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 5-2. Disconnect the connector assembly from CN3 connector of
the FUSE circuit board. (Fig. 2)
5-3. Remove the screw marked [40] fi xing the lug terminal.
(Fig. 2)
5-4. Release the two (2) hooks of the AC inlet, and remove the
AC inlet together with the connector assembly. (Fig. 2)

6. ST CN Circuit Board (Time required: About 3 minutes.)

6-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 6-2. Disconnect the connector assemblies from the ST CN
circuit board. (Fig. 2)
6-3. Remove the three (3) screws marked [38A], the two (2)
connector fixing metals marked [15] and the two (2) washers marked [16A]. The ST CN circuit board can then be removed. (Fig. 2)
4. FUSE シート (所要時間:約 2 分)
4-1. トップカバーを外します。(1 項参照) 4-2. FUSE シートに接続されている束線を抜きます。(図2) 4-3. [39C]のネジ 3 本を外し、FUSE シートを外します。

5. AC インレット (所要時間:約 2 分)
5-1. トップカバーを外します。(1 項参照) 5-2. FUSE シートの CN3 コネクターに接続されている束
線を抜きます。(図2)
5-3. ラグ端子を固定している[40]のネジを外します。

5-4. AC インレットのフック 2 箇所を解除し、AC インレッ
ト(束線付き)を外します。(図2)
6. STCN シート (所要時間:約 3 分)
6-1. トップカバーを外します。(1 項参照) 6-2. STCN シートに接続されている束線を抜きます。

6-3. [38A]のネジ 3 本、[15]のコネクター固定具 2 本、
[16A]のワッシャー 2 本を外し、ST CN シートを外
します。(図2)

7. GPIO CN Circuit Board (Time required: About 3 minutes.)

7-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 7-2. Disconnect the connector assembly from the GPIO CN
circuit board. (Fig. 3)
7-3. Remove the two (2) screws fi xing GPI terminal and the two
washers marked [16B]. The GPIO CN circuit board can then be removed. (Fig. 3)
* The two(2)screwsfixingGPIterminal are supplied
withtheGPIterminal.

8. MONO CN Circuit Board (Time required: About 3 minutes.)

8-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 8-2. Disconnect the connector assemblies from CN21and CN22
connectors of the MAIN circuit board. (Fig. 3)
8-3. Disconnect the fl exible fl at cable from CN23 connector of
the MAIN circuit board. (Fig. 3)
8-4. Remove the six (6) screws marked [39D]. The MONO CN
circuit board can then be removed. (Fig. 3)

9. OUT CN Circuit Board (Time required: About 4 minutes.)

9-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1). 9-2. Remove the MONO CN circuit board. (See procedure 8) 9-3. Disconnect the connector assemblies from the OUT CN
circuit board. (Fig. 3)
9-4. Remove the two (2) screws marked [34] and the two
screws marked [38]. The OUT CN circuit board can then be removed. (Fig. 3)
7. GPIOCN シート (所要時間:約 3 分)
7-1. トップカバーを外します。(1 項参照) 7-2. GPIOCN シートに接続されている束線を抜きます。

7-3. GPI 端子を固定しているネジ 2 本と[16B]のワッ
シャー 2本を外し、GPIOCN シートを外します。(図3) ※ GPI 端子を固定しているネジ 2 本は、GPI 端子の
付属品です。
8. MONOCN シート (所要時間:約 3 分)
8-1. トップカバーを外します。(1 項参照) 8-2. MAIN シートの CN21 と CN22 のコネクターに接続さ
れている束線を抜きます。(図3)
8-3. MAIN シートの CN23 コネクターに接続されている
FFC ケーブルを抜きます。(図3)
8-4. [39D]のネジ 6 本を外し、MONOCN シートを外し
ます。(図3)
9. OUTCN シート (所要時間:約 4 分)
9-1. トップカバーを外します。(1 項参照) 9-2. MONOCN シートを外します。(8 項参照) 9-3. OUTCN シートに接続されている束線を抜きます。

10. Front Panel Assembly (Time required: About 3 min.)
10-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 10-2. Disconnect the connector assembly from the USB CN
circuit board. (Fig. 4)
10-3. Disconnect the flexible flat cables from CN91 and CN92
connectors of the MAIN circuit board. (Fig. 4)
10-4 Disconnect the connector assembly from CN1 connector of
the power supply unit. (Fig. 4)
10-5 Disconnect the connector assembly CN4 connector of the
FUSE circuit board. (Fig. 4)
10-5. Remove the seven (7) screws marked [36A]. The front
panel assembly can then be removed. (Fig. 4)

11-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 11-2. Remove the front panel assembly. (See procedure 10) 11-3. Remove the twelve (12) knobs on the left side. (Fig. 5) 11-4. Remove the nine (9) screws marked [36B]. The FRONT L
circuit board can then be removed. (Fig. 5)
11-5. Disconnect the flexible flat cables from the FRONT L
circuit board. (Fig. 5)

12. FRONT R Circuit Board (Time required: About 4 minutes.)

12-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 12-2. Remove the front panel assembly. (See procedure 10) 12-3. Remove the two (2) knobs on the right side. (Fig. 5) 12-4. Remove the four (4) screws marked [36C]. The FRONT R
circuit board can then be removed. (Fig. 5)
12-5. Disconnect the fl exible fl at cable from the FRONT R circuit
board. (Fig. 5)

board can then be removed. (Fig. 6)
14. Power Switch (Time required: About 4 minutes.)
14-1. Remove the top cover. (See procedure 1) 14-2. Remove the front panel assembly. (See procedure 10) 14-3. Release the two (2) hooks of the power switch, and remove
the power switch together with the connector assembly and the switch guide. (Fig. 6)

(1) Audio analyzer : -96 dBu to +24 dBu, 20 Hz to 20 kHz, THD 0.01 % or less
(2) Oscilloscope : If necessary, 40 MHz, 5 mV or more
(3) Audio oscillator : -96 dBu to +24 dBu, 20 Hz to 20 kHz, THD 0.01 % or less
(4) Voltmeter : Less than 0.1 V/div
(5) PC : The IMX644 Manager software is installed.
The IMX644 Manager software can be downloaded from Yamaha’s professional audio website (URL is de­scribed below).

(6) RS232C female-female cross cable x 1, USB cable x 1
(7) CD player : With OPTICAL OUTPUT jack
