Specifications and Main Features

  • Voices: 100 voices in total (60 presets and 40 user voices).

Q: Which button should I press to turn on my DSR-1000/2000?

A: The DSR-1000/2000 can be turned on with batteries (six 1.5V) or with an AC power adapter (PA-4 for the DSR-1000 and PA-5 for the DSR-2000).

Q: Is it possible to operate this device without an AC adapter?

A: Yes, although note that the device is primarily intended to be run on an AC connection. If you decide to use batteries, remember that the DSR-2000 is power hungry and will have limited battery time.

Q: How many voices can be played simultaneously?

A: There can be two simultaneous voices, one for each of the keyboards, the upper and the lower.

Q: What can I expect to happen when the FILL IN selector Box is pressed?

A: FILL IN selector Button when pressed, Superimposes a short drum passage over the current rhythm being played to replace it as an accent on the rhythm.

Q: How are the custom rhythms saved?

A: You can store up to 16 of your own user-defined accompaniment patterns which are stored in memory for approximately a week after the power has been switched off. Recording is also allowed on a cassette tape (DSR-2000 only) or a RAM pack.
