Connecting the Plug and Cord
IMPORTANT. The wires in this main lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE: NEUTRAL
BROWN: LIVE As the colours of the wires in the main lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: The BLUE wire must be connected to the terminal that is marked with the letter N (or coloured BLACK). The BROWN wire must be connected to the terminal that is marked with the letter L (or coloured RED). Be certain that neither core is connected to the earth terminal of the three pin plug.

Components having special characteristics are marked and must be replaced with parts having specification equal to those originally installed.

Precautions
Attach filament tapes in the same as those before removing.
Notes on Flat Cable
Contacts are visible from the back. Pay attention not to insert and install the cable to the connector inversely. (Photo.1)

1. Top Cover (Time required: about 3 minutes)
1-1 Remove the eight (8) knobs marked [640] and the knob
marked [650]. (Fig.1) 1-2 Remove the ten (10) screws marked [590]. (Fig.2) 1-3 Remove the four (4) screws marked [585]. (Fig.2) 1-4 Remove the four (4) screws marked [580]. The top cover
can then be removed. Be sure to slide the top cover forward
when removing the top cover. (Fig.1)
* Take care not to lose the gain spacers marked [630]
when removing the knobs marked [640] and [650].
* Follow the tightening procedures (1~4) below when
tightening the screws marked [580].

1-1 [640] のノブ8個と [650] のノブ1個を外し ます。 (図1 1-2 [590] のネジ 10 本を外します。 (図2 1-3 [585] のネジ 4 本を外し ます。 (図2 1-4 [580] のネジ 4 本を外し て、 ト ップカバーを外します。
外す と き は手前に引 き 出す よ う に外 し て く だ さ い。 (図 1
[640] および [650] のノ ブを外すときは、 [630] のスペー
サーを な く さ な い よ う注意し て く だ さ い。
