WEEKLY CLEANING AND SANITIZING
The brew is programmed for the sweetener to pour into the tea at the end of the brew cycle.
i
Setting the brewer to tea fast brew can speed up the cleaning procedure.
Use a concentrated cleaning solution to simplfy the cleaning procedures. This procedure requires
a one gallon bucket of a cleaning solution of hot water (140˚F) and a tablet concentrated cleaner (i.e. Coffee Dispenser Cleaner Corporation JaveClean3), one tablet per gallon.
Make sure brewer is on and the water
1
supply is hooked up.
Remove the quick disconnect from the tea
2
sweetener Bag-in-Box (BIB) product.
Pull the cap off of the Quick Connect/
3
Disconnect (QCD) and place this end of
the line into the container with the cleaning solution.
Press the SWEET TEA brew button to run
5
one complete brew cycle.
Allow the brewer to sit overnight with the
6
cleaning solution in the sweetener line
before ushing the cleaning solution.
Flush the system by lling one gallon
7
container with clean, hot water (no cleaning
solution) and press the SWEET TEA button to
run a brew cycle until all the cleaning
solution has been ushed from the system.
Discard the solution that poured into the
8
container.
Remove the QCD from the ushing
9
container and replace the cap. Reconnect the QCD to the BIB sweetener.
Place an empty tea container on the brew
4
deck and an empty brew cone into the brew rails below the sprayhead.
