- Q: The sewing machine that I have has a light bulb that is dead. How do I replace it? Please Answer.
A: First of all unplug the unit and let it cool to a required temperature. After replacing the old light bulb take a screwdriver then loosen the screw on the face cover, remove the face cover, take the old bulb out by pulling it down and then push a new bulb up into position where it goes and old bulb out remember to fully push new one in.
- Q: What kind of lifting fabric will require needles?
A: For stretchy fabrics, a ballpoint needle is recommended so that the fabric is not pierced by this type of needle.
- Q: A regular clean up is needed in feed dog and shuttle area, but for what reasons?*
A: Cleaning is recommended on a regular basis especially during stuck thread. This cleaning is crucial in preserving the sewing quality of the machine.
- Q: How do I incorporate free motion quilting?
A: In free motion quilting, the feed dog has to be lowered, a stippling might have to be attached or a darning foot attached, and the fabric can be moved in almost any direction to form the desired shape.
- Q: Is it possible to sew the buttons on this sewing machine?
A: Yes, buttons can be sewed with the help of the button sewing foot. It can be used for button which has at least two to four holes, if the distance between these holes do not exceed more than 5mm.
- Q: There are irregular shapes in what I stitch, how do I fix that?
A: Inspect the thread tensions on the upper section and the bobbin. Then alter the tension dial depending on what’s appropriate for even stitches.
