How to use the appliance

Open the door,
switch on the appliance

detergent dispenser
Check the rinse aid level
Check the regeneration
salt level
Load the racks
Select a programme
Select options
Press the ON button.
Large compartment A: With each wash cycle. Small compartment B: For programmes with pre-wash only.
On models with water softener system only .
Mechanical indi cator D. Electri c indi cator on control panel (if provided).
Refer to the dishwasher loading instructions.
The last programme selected will light up. Press the button until the desired programme lights up.
If necessary (and if provided) the corresponding indicator lamp lights up.

Turn on the water tap
close the dishwasher door

Switch off the appliance
Turn off the water tap,
unload the racks
The selected progr amme is then memorised (even in th e event of power fai lur e).
At the end of the progr amme an acoustic sign al will sound. Only after the ST ART button has switched o ff: press th e OFF button. All the indi cator lamps switch off.
Warning: when the door is opened steam comes out!
Unload the appliance, starting from the lower rack.

Press the START button for 2 sec. until the Start indicator lamp switches off; Select another programme and press
the START button again.
- Only open the dishwasher if necessary (Warning: beware of hot steam).
- If the appliance is switched o ff d urin g a wash cycle, when switched on again it will resume the cycle from where it was interrupted.

Upper rack:
Multi-purpose support (A):
Depending on the position, f or lon g­handles utensils, cups and glasses . M ay be used in three different position s.
Crockery holders (B):
Depending on the positi on, for ex ample plates, cups and long-stemm ed gl asses .
Revolving glass support (C):
Depending on the positi on, for ex ample small or long-stemmed glasses .
Long-handled utensils (e.g. carving forks, knives) must be arranged with the sharp end facing in towards the appliance
Half Load:
Load the upper rack Place the cutlery basket (D) in the
upper rack.

Rack height adjustment (also when loaded):

The rack must be level on both sides.
Removing the top rack to provide clearance for large items of crockery in the bottom rack:
Open the rack guide r etainers (F) on the right and left an d r em ove th e t op r ack. When the upper rack is in place the retainers must always be closed.

Lower rack:
Depending on the m odel with fix ed or tilting plate holders (G).
Half Load:
Load the lower rack Greater washing power, particularly
for plates and saucepans.
Cutlery basket (J) or (H):
Some models are provided w ith a gri d (I) that can be fitted onto the cutlery basket to keep items separated. Cutlery basket (D) for appliances wi th half load only.
Sharp knives and forks that might cause injury must be placed in the cutlery basket with the sharp end facing downwards.
Only use dishwasher-proof crockery and dishes . Do not use the appliance f or items not suitable for w ashing in a dishwasher , for example wooden items , aluminium, plastic utensils, tin, hand-decorated crockery (unglazed), silver cutlery . Spare parts which are sold separately:
