Caution

The color, surface finish, size and shape of the target all affect reflectivity and range. The brighter the color, the longer the range.

Red is highly reflective, for example, and allows longer ranges than black color, which is the least reflective color. A shiny finish provides more range than a dull one.

A small target is more difficult to range than a large target.

The angle to the target has also an effect. Shooting at a target at a 90° angle (where the target surface is perpendicular to the flight path of the emitted energy pulses) provides a good range while a steep angle on the other hand, provides limited ranging.

In addition, lighting conditions (e.g. the amount of sunlight) will affect the ranging capabilities of the unit. The less light (e.g. overcast skies) the farther is the unit´s maximum range.

Conversely, very sunny days will decrease the unit´s maximum range. As long as the user can see the target in the monocular, the laser range finding is not affected.

The product should be stored in the temperature condition between 5-35° Celsius. Operating temperature: -20° und +40° Celsius.

caution

Viewing the sun can cause permanent eye damage. Do not view the sun with this range finder or even with the naked eye!

Do not disassemble the device; this will void the warranty. The LRF is not waterproof.

WARRANTY

The Umarex company will repair or replace your device free of charge (up to 12 months from date of purchase) provided the defect was not caused by you. Return the device to the authorised dealer from where you bought it.

Maintenance

A special lens cloth is strongly recommended for cleaning the exterior. Do not use cloths or cleaning agents that could scratch the device or the optical components. When using the unit in rain or snow, dry it frequently with a dry, lint-free cloth and make sure that water does not get in. If the device comes into contact with salt water, clean it immediately with a moist cloth and dry it.

Disposal

Please note that flat batteries must not be put in the household waste. Dispose of

them properly, hand them in at your local shop for disposal or take them to a used

battery collection location. Do not recharge the batteries, subject them to heat or

Li

throw them into a fire. Improper use can cause a life-threatening explosion or

chemical fire. If you do not intend to use the device for a long period, remove the

batteries and store them in a cool, dry place.

Engage the device.

Turn the ocular until the target is in focus. Centre the target in the circle.

The rubber eye cup can be folded down for eyeglass wearers.

ON

Operation

The object to be measured should be targeted at the circle center

Distance indicated with 3 digits. When „---“ shown indicates no distance being measured.

Units of measurement: degrees (DEGS) for angles; metres (MS) or yards (YDS) for distances.

ON

Quality:

sicherheitshinweise

Achtung
