Adjusting the micro-fluid head
Use the Pan and Tilt Tension Adjust Knobs to set desired tensions for
horizontal and vertical
movement.

To remove the
quick-release (QR) plate, loosen the QR
Plate Hold-Down
Pan Tension Adjust Knob
Knob. Then, slide the plate and turn the Plate Safety Release Knob counter-clockwise. The
quick-release plate can then be removed and attached to desired optic
or camera. Reinstall the quick-release plate, adjust balance point, and tighten the Hold-Down Knob.

If desired, reference the Bubble Level to ensure
tripod plate is level.
Adjusting the center column
Change the position of the center column to raise the tripod head for
additional height. Unlock the center column by pushing the silver Safety Latch down and flipping the Lever Lock upward. Once you
have moved the center column to the desired height, lock the height in
place by flipping the center column lock back down.

For very low heights, the center column can be split by unscrewing and
removing the lower section.

Adjusting the leg length
To extend a leg, release the Flip Lever Lock and slide the leg section
out to the desired length. Press the flip lever
back down to secure a section in place. Leg will
extend to a maximum of three sections.
Padded upper sections on two legs provide a
comfortable place to grip and extra comfort
when carrying.

Adjusting the leg angle
The legs of the Skyline can be set at one of three angles. To adjust the leg angle, slide the Release Tab to the right and pivot the leg outward
to the desired angle.

Balance Hook
To help stabilize the tripod in windy conditions, attach the Balance Hook and hang a weight (not supplied) from it.
