Adjusting the 3-way pan head
Grasp the Control Arm and rotate to adjust the tilt and pan the
head—counter-clockwise
to loosen and clockwise to
tighten.
To attach or detach the
quick-release plate, pull the Plate Release Lever out. Attach the Quick-Release Plate to the desired optic or
camera.

Adjusting the center column
Loosen and tighten the Column Height Adjustment Knob to raise
or lower the center column.

To help stabilize the tripod in windy conditions, attach the Balance Hook and hang a weight (not supplied) from it.
Adjusting the leg length
To extend a leg, release the flip-lever lock and slide the leg section
out to the desired length. Press
the flip-lever back down to
secure a section in place. Leg
will extend to a maximum of
three sections.
