the exterior of the Golf is a tough safety cage designed to help
protect each and every person inside in nearly any situation.

Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS). In the event of a

collision that activates the vehicle’s airbags,†† the Intelligent Crash
Response System automatically unlocks the doors, turns off the
fuel pump, and turns on the hazard lights.‡
