Most people don’t associate hybrids with being fun to drive. Fuel-efficient maybe, but definitely not something you’d actually want to drive. We wanted to change all that. That’s why we introduced the world’s first supercharged hybrid with the Touareg Hybrid, as well as the first turbocharged hybrid in its class with the Jetta Hybrid. With 380 horsepower, the Touareg Hybrid has more power and performance than many V8 models, and noticeably better gas mileage to boot.* And with the Jetta Hybrid, you don’t have to give up the great looks and performance of the Jetta to get great fuel economy.** So now, instead of having a hybrid to just get you from here to there, our hybrids may be the first you’ll want to take everywhere.
