Instructions for updating VM230XVT firmware

Applies to Vizio TV Model VM230XVT ONLY

1. After downloading the firmware, format a USB flash Memory stick with FAT32 format.

5. Insert the USB Flash memory into the USB connector, located near the RF connector.

6. Plug the Power Cable to the TV.

7. Use the remote control to turn ON the TV.

8. At the bottom of the TV, it should display the red or blue bar from left to right that indicates the software is

upgrading the firmware.

9. The upgraded firmware is done after the front VIZIO logo is OFF and there is only the Power LED is ON.

10. Disconnect the power Adapter again, and remove the USB flash memory.

11. Plug the power cable back, and turn ON the TV.

12. Make sure that you can see the Info will display the firmware Version 2.23

13. Continue to setup and scan the channel as a new TV.

14. Re-power the TV after setup.
