VIVOTEK IP8162/62P are part of the SUPREME series product line offering 1080p HD resolution with superb image quality. The camera can

capture a more comprehensive view than a standard VGA camera, significantly reducing the number of cameras required. It is especially

suitable for monitoring wide open spaces such as building entrances, airports, or applications requiring accurate identification.

The IP8162/62P employ many advanced features to allow users to fully enjoy the high definition video. With high performance

H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG compression technology, the camera offers high-quality video in full HD @ 30fps with a minimum of bandwidth

consumption. The Video Cropping feature allows a user to only transfer user-defined regions for viewing instead of an entire scene, which can

also be used to optimize bandwidth and enhance storage efficiency. The ePTZ function enables users to zoom in and focus on a region of

interest in the camera view with only a few clicks, providing an additional level of image enhancement.

Additional value-added functions that give users more flexibility and efficiency of use include WDR Enhancement, which allows users to identify

image details in extremely bright and dark environments. The Focus Assist button can aid an installer to precisely adjust the camera. When

pressing the Focus Assist button on the camera unit, an indicator will be displayed on screen with detailed focusing information, which will vary

in accordance with the manual adjustment. Moreover, holding down the button will zoom in on the target area for fine tuning, resulting in better

usability and picture clarity. The IP8162P model comes with an advanced P-Iris lens, which controls the iris opening with extreme precision at

an optimal level at all times via the built-in stepper motor, resulting in superior sharpness and depth of field as well as image quality.

As with all VIVOTEK true day/night cameras, the IP8162/62P feature a removable IR-cut filter, maintaining clear images 24 hours a day. Together

with WDR Enhancement, users can identify image details in extremely bright as well as dark environments. Also featuring a myriad of other

high-end features such as SDHC card slot*, PoE, multiple streams, and the included 32-CH recording software, the IP8162/62P is indisputably

1080p Resolution at Full Frame Rates

Focus Assist Button

The VIVOTEK IP8162/62P are able to transmit two-megapixel video at 30 fps rates with H.264 compression, while conventional megapixel cameras generally only achieve 10 to 15 fps due to hardware limitations. The ability to view and record footage at a full frame rate enables much more effective surveillance.

For example, if a person or object of interest passes quickly through the camera’s field of view during an event, a 10 fps frame rate might mean only a single frame with the target is captured, while the IP8162/62P would capture three frames, providing a fuller record of the event and more reliable identification of the target.

Wide Coverage, Exceptional Details

The IP8162/62P can capture a much more extensive area than a standard VGA camera can, significantly reducing the number of cameras required. It is especially well suited to monitoring broad indoor spaces such as building entrances and airport terminals, and is highly effective for applications requiring accurate recognition, such as identification of people or license plate numbers.
