SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Before using the electrical unit, thoroughly read
through this instruction manual and keep it for
future reference. Use the unit for its intended
purpose only, as specified in this manual.
Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage
and cause harm to the user or damage to his/
her property.

• Before the first connecting the unit to the

mains for battery charging, make sure that
your home mains voltage corresponds to
power adapter operating voltage.

• Use only the attachments and the power

adapter supplied with the unit.

• Do not use the unit in places with high tem-

perature and relative humidity more than 80%.

• Charge the battery at the temperature from

+5°C to +35°C.

• Never use the unit if the attachments or the

blades are damaged.

• Do not use the unit to cut hair on pets.

• Always keep the blades clean and lubricated.

• After each use, clean the attachments with the

brush to remove the cut-off hair.

• Never leave the operating unit unattended.

• Switch the unit off during intervals in opera-

tion or when you are not using it.

• The power adapter cord must not:

– touch hot objects and surfaces,
– be immersed into water,
– extend over sharp edges,
– be used as a handle for carrying the unit.

• Never pull the power cord when disconnect-

ing the unit from the mains, seize the power
adapter and carefully remove it from the
mains socket.

• Clean the unit regularly.

• Do not immerse the unit body, the power

adapter or the power adapter cord into water
or other liquids.

• Do not touch the unit body and the power

adapter with wet hands.

• Never leave the unit connected to the mains

unattended.

• Do not allow children to touch the unit body,

the power adapter and the adapter cord dur­ing unit operation.

• This unit is not intended for usage by children.

• During the unit operation and breaks between

operation cycles, place the unit out of reach of
children and disabled persons.

• The unit is not intended for usage by persons

(including children) with physical or mental
disabilities or by persons lacking experience
or knowledge if they are not under supervision
of a person who is responsible for their safety
or if they are not instructed by this person on
the usage of the unit.

• Do not leave children unattended to prevent

them from using the unit as a toy.

• For children safety reasons do not leave poly-

ethylene bags, used as packaging, unat­tended.

Attention! Do not allow children to play with
polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of

suffocation!

• Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disas-

semble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction
is detected or after it was dropped, unplug
the unit and contact any authorized service
center from the contact address list given in
the warranty certificate and on the website
www.vitek.ru.

• To avoid damages, transport the unit in the

original packaging only.

• Keep the unit out of reach of children and

people with disabilities.

THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE
ONLY, ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE
IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS
PROHIBITED.

UTILIZING THE TOOLKIT BEFORE
THE FIRST USE

After unit transportation or storage under
cold (winter) conditions, it is necessary to
keep it for at least three hours at room tem­perature before switching on.

Battery charging

A fully charged battery provides about 45 min­utes of continuous unit operation.

– Insert the power adapter (10) jack into the

socket (6).

– Insert the power adapter into the mains

socket, the indicator (5) will light up.

– Before the first usage of the unit, fully charge

the battery for 8 hours.

– After charging remove the power adapter (10)

from the mains socket and disconnect the
adapter cord from the unit.

Notes:

– The following charging cycles of the battery

take about 1 hour.

– If the blades' motion is slowing down and you

need to continue the unit operation, charge
the battery for at least 1 hour or connect the
power adapter.

– Charge the battery at the temperature from

+5° C to +35° C.

– Never leave the unit connected to the mains

unattended.

– If you haven't used the unit for a long time

(more than 2 months), charge the battery fully
for 8 hours before using the unit.

Lubricating oil

– To maintain the unit in good condition, the

blades (1, 2) need to be lubricated after every
use of the unit.

Attention! Use only the lubricating oil (11) from
the delivery set.
DO NOT USE vegetable oil, fat, oil mixed with
any solvents for lubricating.
Solvents will evaporate, leaving thick grease
that can slow down the motion of the adjust­able blade.

Hair length adjustment

– Adjust the hair length from 0.5 to 2.5 mm

by moving the adjustable blade (2) with the
shifter (3).

– If you need to set the hair length from 4

to 30 mm, move the shifter (3) to the posi­tion «0.5 mm» and install the corresponding
attachment (7).

– To install the attachment (7 or 9), insert the

blades (1, 2) into the attachment (7), lower
the attachments (7) until the fixators (8) click
(fig. 1, 2).

– To remove the attachment (7 or 9) simultane-

ously press the perturbing segment of the fix­ators (8) and carefully extract the attachment
(7) from the body.

Using the unit

– For cordless use of the unit, charge the bat-

tery fully.

Note: For corded use, connect the power
adapter (10) cord to the socket (6) and plug the
power adapter into the mains.

– Before cutting hair, switch the unit on

with the button (4) "

" and make sure that
the unit is operating normally and the blades
are moving smoothly. If there is excess oil
on the blades, remove it with a dry lintless
cloth.

– Switch the unit off by pressing the button (4)

Notes:

– Always switch the unit off during the intervals

in operation.

– Switch the unit off before changing the attach-

ment. When operating the unit from the mains,
unplug it as well.

HAIRCUTTING

– Hair should be clean and dry during hair-

cutting. The best results of haircutting are
attained if the hair is dry, not wet.

– Seat the person so that his/her head is

approximately at your eye level, cover the
person’s shoulders with a towel and set hair
with the comb.

– Always start cutting from the back of the head.
– You can cut hair against and along the direc-

tion of hair growth, but keep in mind that the
hair cut against the growth will be shorter than
the hair cut along the growth.

– To leave longer hair, take hair locks between

your fingers and cut it using the hair clipper.

– Always cut off little amount of hair at a time;

you can always return to the cut area again for
additional cutting.

– Comb the hair to reveal uneven locks.

– You can lift the hair locks and cut them along

the comb.

– Use scissors to trim hair.
– With time you will learn to model desired hair-

cuts by yourself.

STYLING
Step one

Install the «4-6 mm» attachment (7). Switch the
unit off by using the power switch (4) "

". Hold
the unit with the blades pointed upwards.
Start cutting from the beginning of the hair growth.
Slowly move the unit upwards. Cut the back of
the head area at the bottom and near the ears.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

– Switch the unit off after use.
– Remove the attachment (7 or 9) from the unit

body and clean the inside and outside of the
attachments (7 or 9) from the cut hair, using
the cleaning brush (12).

– You can wash the attachments (7, 9) under a

water jet, then wipe them and dry out.

– Wipe the unit body with a soft slightly damp

cloth. Do not immerse the hair clipper body,
power cord and power plug into water or other
liquids.

– Never use solvents or abrasives to clean the

unit body and attachments.

Step two

Switch the unit off by using the power switch (4)

a second time. Install the «10-12 mm» attach­ment. Switch the unit on and continue cutting hair
near the crown of the head.

Step 3 – cutting in the temples area

Switch the unit off and install the «4-6 mm»
attachment. Cut the hair on the temples. Then
continue cutting towards the top of the head with
the «10-12 mm» attachment.

Step 4 – cutting the top of the head

Using the «10-12 mm» attachment cut the hair
from the top of the head towards the crown
against the hair growth direction.

Step 5 – the final part

Remove the attachment from the unit, turn the
blades of the unit towards the hair and carefully
trim hair on the temples and neck. Do not press
on the unit; there is danger of injuries or cuts
when open blades come in contact with the skin.

Cone-shaped haircut

Install the necessary attachment (7) and start cut­ting from the head back towards the crown. Cut hair
against hair growth from the head front to the top of
the head and on the sides. To get a flat top haircut,
use the comb: lift the locks and cut them along the
comb. Comb the hair to reveal uneven locks.

Blade block

Attention! Do not wash the blade block with
water; use lab alcohol to wash the blade block.
Lubricate the blades (1, 2) regularly using the oil
(11) supplied with the unit.

– Switch the hair clipper off with the

button (4) "

", unplug it if the unit is being

charged.

– Remove the attachment (7 or 9).
– Remove the blade block (1, 2) by pressing

on the upper part of the block on the blades
side (fig. 3).

– Remove the remaining cut hair from the blade

block and the inner side of the unit body sur­face with the brush (12).

– Apply one or two drops of lubricating oil (11)

to the teeth of the blades and the supporting
part of the upper blade (fig. 4).

– Before installing the blade block, make sure

that the hair length shifter (3) is set to the
position "0.5 mm".

– Insert the ledge on the lower part of the

blade block into the grooves on the unit
body. Press on the upper part on the block
until it is fixed. The clicking sound of the fix­ator indicates the proper installation of the
blade block.

– Switch the hair clipper on and make sure that

the blades are moving smoothly.

– Switch the hair clipper off, wipe off the excess

of oil with dry cloth or a paper towel.

Hair thinning

The essence of hair thinning is in cutting off
separate locks at different height, which allows
achieving smooth transition between locks of
different length. Hair thinning is performed at the
final phase of haircutting with the attachment (9).

STORAGE

– Clean the unit and lubricate the blades with

lubricating oil (11) before taking the unit away
for storage.

– Keep the unit in a dry cool place away from

children and people with disabilities.

to specialized centers for further recycling.

ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕ НАБОРА

После транспортировки или хранения
устройства в зимних (холодных) условиях
необходимо выдержать его при комнатной
температуре не менее трёх часов.

Зарядка аккумуляторной батареи

При полном заряде аккумуляторной бата­реи время непрерывной работы устройства
составляет около 45 минут.

– Вставьте разъём сетевого адаптера (10) в

гнездо (6).

– Вставьте сетевой адаптер в электрическую

розетку, при этом загорится индикатор (5).

– Перед первым использованием полностью

зарядите аккумуляторную батарею в тече­ние 8 часов.

– Завершив зарядку, извлеките сетевой

адаптер (10) из электрической розетки и
отсоедините провод сетевого адаптера от
устройства.

Примечания:

– Продолжительность последующих зарядок

батареи составляет около 1 часа.

– Если скорость перемещения лезвий сни-

зилась, а вам необходимо продолжить
работу, то подзарядите аккумуляторную
батарею не менее 1 часа или подключите
сетевой адаптер.

– Производите зарядку аккумуляторов при

температуре от +5° C до +35° C.

– Не оставляйте включённое в сеть устрой-

ство без присмотра.

– Если вы не пользовались устройством про-

должительное время (более 2 месяцев),
перед использованием устройства произ­ведите зарядку аккумуляторной батареи в
течение 8 часов.

Смазочное масло

– Для поддержания устройства в рабочем

состоянии необходимо смазывать лезвия
(1, 2) после каждого использования.

Внимание! Используйте только то смазоч­ное масло (11), которое входит в комплект
поставки.
НЕ ИСПОЛЬЗУЙТЕ для смазки раститель­ное масло, жир, смесь масла с раствори­телями.
Растворители подвержены испарению, после
чего оставшееся густое масло может замед­лить скорость перемещения подвижного
лезвия.

Регулировка высоты срезаемых волос

– Регулируйте высоту срезаемых волос от

0,5 до 2,5 мм, перемещая регулятором (3)
подвижное лезвие (2).

– Если необходимо установить длину волос

от 4 до 30 мм, переместите регулятор (3) в
положение «0,5 mm» и установите соответ­ствующую насадку (7).

– Чтобы установить насадку (7 или 9),

вставьте лезвия (1,2) в насадку (7), опу­стите насадку (7) до срабатывания фикса­торов (8) (рис. 1, 2).

– Чтобы снять насадку (7 или 9), одновре-

менно нажмите на выступающую часть
фиксаторов (8) и аккуратно снимите
насадку (7) с корпуса.

Использование устройства

– Для работы от аккумуляторной батареи

полностью зарядите её.

сети подсоедините провод сетевого адап-
